I think I understand his motivations. He said 'one must destroy in order to create.' I get the impression he was disgusted with the corruption and weakness of the republic and the Jedi order and how it allowed itself to be so utterly corrupted and weakened. He also saw the Sith and the Emperor as too extreme the other way. He believes Thrawn can make a better galaxy, one not 'evil' but also not weak and corrupt. This was the first time since Rosario Dawson has taken up the mantle of Ahsoka that I actually saw the kid from the Clone Wars in her eyes, she lit up when she saw Anakin…and it was beautiful.
exactly. i love rosario and i don't mean to discredit the amazing work she's already done (my personal favorites being the mannerisms ahsoka does with her arms while thinking--literally taking the character animation and bringing that movement into live action--same with the way she Mugs when she fights 😭🫶🏻) but this really was that final stitch in the sweater for me
I think she had taken up the mantle already perfectly fine before that. She's much older and mature and so I don't think we are meant to see that young and energetic Ahsoka that we saw at the beginning of Clone Wars. Seeing Anakin is something to be lit up about for sure but what else that has happen would garner her being like the kid version of her from Clone Wars?
Exactly! I saw someone say Baylan fought like he was holding a claymore. But then in this episode, when they’re posing up against each other, Baylan reaffirms his stance tucking it into his shoulder, while Ahsoka goes full Seven Samurai the way she holds it backwards pointing. Really great that its so visually identifiable and distinguishable
Seeing Ahsoka smile like she used to at seeing her master hit me with all the emotions. No idea how the rest of the story is going to play out, but I'm here for it.
I never jumped into the Marrok theories because i knew all he would be was a new Inquisitor. Didn't expect him to be a reanimated corpse used to bring back with Nightsister magick though.
Also its way better for the story, he wasn't just nobody, he wasn't some insane theory-person, but him being resurrected as a Nightsisters ghost shows you what sort of powers she has, and they're going to come into play, probably regarding Thrawn
Huyang, Hera and possibly Ahsoka are still on Seatos - as much as I'd like Marrok to simply be left there as nothing but smoke and magic bound up in a suit of Inquisitor armor, I suspect Huyang will next week be telling us which former Jedi/Sith/Other has been zombified/reanimated by nightsister magic and bound into that armor - his movements WERE human, he never looked robotic or mindless to me. I haven't been a Marrok theorist - I was sure that Marrok was Marrok and am still very happy with that, though a voice in the back of my mind is very insistently saying it's Ventress, though realistically if Filoni brought her back they'd do more with her than that.
@@Billyreginbullshit. Stevenson's performance doesnt change because of his death. You are just trying to act edgy but instead looking quite pathetic.
And it feels like he isn't a dark Jedi for egoistical reason, but rather feels that Thrawn is the only one who could protect the galaxy against a so far unknown threat. He is convinced that he serves the greater good, which makes him both compelling and dangerous.
Ahsoka must be so confused, that’s the second time she randomly woke up on the “floor” in the World Between Worlds with no memory of getting there and coming across someone from her past… Lets hope this time she doesn’t have to fight anyone…
It's like the whale and the bowl of petunias in hitchhiker's guide. "Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of (the bowl of petunias) / (Ahsoka) as it fell (into the WBW) was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why (the bowl of petunias) / (Ahsoka) had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now"
It's really cool the writers are touching on changing saber stances depending on the enemy. Jedi Survivor taught me dual wielding may not be the best stance against strong enemies 😂
@@thechad4485you should cry at how much abuse Hayden had to take for years on end. Along with young Ani, jar jar, and Rose. Youre lucky any actors dont spit on star wars fans for being the most ungrateful brats alive
i felt a great disturbance in the force...as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in joy at seeing hayden in his pre-vader look...and were suddenly silenced because it was another short disney plus show.
@Billyregin Exactly what I've been thinking watching the flip-flopping of fans. "The episode that saved star wars!!!" is what I've seen this be called basically just because they got Anakin back and I'm like that's such an exaggeration and you're the same fans that absolutely HATED Lucas, Hayden, young Anakin actor, and drove Ahmed Best almost to end himself just because you disliked something he didn't even control. I honestly feel as entitled as they feel they don't deserve what they demand.
Only these guys understand the feelings of this show and the characters. They are true fans not filled with darkness and hate, instead, they can enjoy the spectacle and especially appreciate how well this was brought from animation to live action. Awesome show and, an awesome reaction.
If I had to describe this episode in 1 word it would be "magic", the music, scenarios, fights, CGI, those dialogues. the participation of Baylan, and that cliffhanger, I think it is one of the best I've seen in my life, pure Star Wars, next week will be a barbarity
I assume next week will be a sort of bridge of the group in mid-hyper-space travel discussing things, and Ahsoka exploring the world between worlds, i hope its good but it feels like its gonna be an Andor Episode 11 sort of a connector-filler
@@GuineaPigEveryday you really think that the only episode remained that is directed by Filoni, with Anakin, is going to be an Andor episode 11 connector filler???!!!
I already knew the Ahsoka-Marrok fight was samurai-cinema inspired, but Calvin blew my mind when he connected the smoke spraying from the wound to the classic blood-spraying shots! Damn that's cool.
I love how big Baylen is and how big he fights. Im so used to lighter, more slender lightsaber fighters that having an absolute unit like him is refreshing.
Ahsoka: Destroy it! Me and Eric: Isildur! I love this reaction. Love the talk and the emotion. The reaction to the ending was the best ❤ and now we have to wait 😢
@@praedonius9693 you know there was a description in the episode 3 novel by Matthew Stover in which he was saying that Dooku was having to utilize the force in order to reinforce his bones otherwise Anakin's strikes would have driven right through him. I wasn't sure what that look like until this episode
I literally jumped out of my chair when Hayden said "Snips". I was waiting to see Eric's reaction to this and it did not disappoint! This is Top Ten episodes of Star Wars, easily!!
Something about the way Baylan blocks blaster bolts is absolutely perfect to me. He will walk with purpose towards his target and deflect everything without missing a step. It's just so intimidating. He's so imposing. It really sucks that we lost Ray Stevenson because he has really created a 'villain' that I flat out love and it's only been a few episodes.
Yeah its similar to Vader when he casually bats the blaster bolts away. The difference is in Vader’s arrogance and Baylon’s nonchalance and no nonsense approach. He’s more of a “terminator” type. No emotion. I love it!
If you watch closely when Ahsoka kills the inquisitor Marrock, he doesn't disintegrate entirely. He seems to deflate into a corpse. He is a reanimated corpse I think.
I'm probably wrong, but I think Ahsoka's meeting with Anakin will be something more along the lines of Kanan meeting the Inquisitor/Temple Guard as a rite of passage of sorts.
I agree with you, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just “the force” using Anakin to deliver a vision or message to Ahsoka about overcoming one’s past etc. But the tin foil hat on my head makes me think that Anakin has become The Father now and become a more powerful figure in the Force, and Ahsoka is basically a living avatar for the Daughter. Whoever the Sun is, I think it may be Baylen. We know the Sun can give visions of the future, maybe he’s been guiding Baylen to the W.B.W. To take his place. “A greater good” as Baylen says
Dang good episode. Just wanna give a shout-out to Ray Stevenson, who amazed me with his performance during both the fight with Ahsoka and his manipulation of Sabine. I'm so sad we won't get more of his character after this, Baylan's one of the most interesting new characters that's appeared since Disney bought Star Wars.
I genuinely don't think he was manipulating her. He thinks that Ahsoka is a blind fool like the Jedi of old, I suspect he recognises that the New Republic is an empty vessel on a hiding to nothing, that there is no force in the galaxy that can push back against the inevitable return of the Sith. He sees Sabine as a young and competent person following a stubborn old fool, I doubt he has any animus against Ezra - he didn't want to fight Ahsoka and openly regretted the possibility of having to kill Jedi - in fact he may well see bringing back a young and talented Jedi as one of the goals of this journey.. This could go any direction at all, but I suspect he genuinely believes that he, Thrawn, Ezra and Sabine can all return from Peridea, perhaps even that the two may come to see things his way.
I loved the varied reactions of Eric, Calvin, and Aaron when they realized Ahsoka was in the WBW and Eric's genuine emotion when seeing Hayden teared me up all over again. What a phenonomal episode! So wonderful to see Hayden continue to be embraced by the fans. Dave has often compared Ahsoka to Gandalf so that gets me wondering .... will the next episode be her "fighting the Balrog" moment and at the end of the episode, she'll emerge similar to how Gandalf did as Ashoka the White. I cannot wait until next Tuesday! Fantastic reaction as always!
Fans are lucky Hayden returned to the same fans who abused him. Thats what star wars fans are best at. Ruining the experience for the actors. Jar jar, young Ani, Anakin, Rose...its just despicable
I can't even imagine the emotions Ahsoka is feeling. The small smile immediately replaced by fear as she really sees him, remembering how she saw him last. Anakin running off to save the Chancellor, to feeling his death as Order 66 occurs, to realizing he lives within a shroud of darkness, to seeing him appear once more as the mask is cut, to accepting he can't be saved as he says "Then you will die." Ahsoka had to have met Luke before, and he may have told her of Anakin's fate right? Does she know he was brought back? There is clearly this underlying terror as she looks at him and Rosario portrays so many of these mixed emotions so well.
@@AT32556 Personally I wonder if this series is set _before_ we see her with Luke in TBoBF (but after Mando S2 obviously) - to me, Ahsoka feels unmistakably _lighter_ in TBoBF compared to Mando 2x5 _and_ here, like she knows something by then that buoys her up. Previously we'd all assumed Luke told her what ultimately happened to Anakin but given this episode, it seems at least possible she hears it straight from the source first. (totally agree with OP about Rosario Dawson's performance BTW - she portrays Ahsoka _now_ - emotionally battered and withdrawn behind a self-protective shell - so well _then_ switches gears to pull off that actor's magic trick of just instantly revealing the vulnerable joy and hope underneath)
The smile that Hayden gives in combo with the de-aging really gives Clone Wars vibes with the snarky grin he always gave Ahsoka. Then it cuts back to Ahsoka looking the most like her Clone Wars self they've done in Live Action
I didn't even dream about seeing Anakin (not Darth but ANI) talking to Ahsoka after Order 66 and now that's exactly what we're likely to see in Episode 5. I still can not believe it. The week should rather go by faster.

I think the antagonists will use technology to reach Thrawn and Ezra while our heroes will use a more natural way, like Purgil, to reach them. Classic Star Wars.
Ahsoka might use the World Between Worlds to reach Ezra after accepting she can’t change the past, but she can change the present. Quite poetic is executed well.

Oh man without you guys and the star wars community i wouldn't have watched any of it and especially not the animation series, and now here i am crying over this ending ! i am so happy i discovered your channel
All season they’ve been hinting about Ahsoka’s failed attempt to train Sabine that we never saw. Which tells me we’re going to see a flashback of it at some point this season. What better time than with Anakin here who may still have something to teach her.
I want to watch this reaction but my eyes are still too filled with tears from getting haydens anakin and him saying snips. I'm never going to stop crying!
Baylan is awesome. I love how you can tell that Ahsoka recognizes how physically strong his hits will be so she switches to just a single blade to better counter his power. Also, totally think though that Ahsoka would’ve won the duel if she didn’t burn her hand.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for loving Star Wars. It makes me so happy to see people who love it as much as me. Your reactions bring me so much joy.
21:17 Aaron is just literally everyone at that moment. Also knowing next episode is gonna be shown in Cinemas and was directed by Dave himself.... stuffs going down next week.
I'm really liking Baylan's character. To me he's a mix of several different Dark Side characters, Joruus C'Baoth from the original Thrawn books (fallen/dark Jedi that is an ally of Thrawn), Count Dooku (has a cordial and affable persona but is still manipulative), and Vader (similar fighting style in that it resembles a medieval knight with a lot of weight behind each blow) yet all the while he isn't a carbon copy of them and truly feels like an original character.
the starmap also instantly disappeared as soon as the lightsaber was turned on so clearly the damage was done. She could have inflicted minor damage and it would still render it useless seeing as "even one data point off will see us stranded in the void"
I grew up with the prequels and clone wars followed me through highschool. Never in my life would I think to see Ahsoka in live action, never would I have thought I would see Hayden back. My wife had to hug me last night because these are my 2 favorite star wars characters getting to be together in live action, done so well. I will remember this always.
Lightsaber fights in this episode were top notch. Specially Ahsoka vs Baylan, amazing! Finally someone talented is making cinema again. btw 21:26 "F Yeah" is a good commentary of this episode.
I absolutely loved this episode! I felt like everything about it was so amazing. Every scene and moment was just so awesome! I thought that the writing was fantastic, the acting was amazing, and the tone was perfect. All throughout the episode I felt like it was super tense and it had me on the edge of my seat. And I feel like I can’t say enough just how incredible the music for this episode was, I’m so glad that they brought Kevin Kiner back to do this shows score. And I feel like all the performances in this episode was amazing. Each actor was giving a fantastic performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. And have completely sold me on their performances for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. And right at the start of episode, Ahsoka says to Sabine “Can I count on you?” which I felt like was a reference to how in the finale of Rebels Ezra said “I know I can count on you.” to Sabine. I really liked seeing Huyang fighting the HK Assassin Droid, I just thought that it cool and a nice reference to the “combat mode” he used in Clone Wars. And I absolutely loved all of the lightsaber fights in this episode, each one felt so amazingly choreographed and perfectly grounded. For starters, I thought that the Ahsoka and Marrok fight was perfect, she was able to take him out with little effort, just like how she did with all the other Inquisitors we’ve seen her come across. But I’m very curious to see what exactly happened to him, it looked like after she sliced him some sort of gaseous creature or spirit came out of his body and flew away. And I loved the Sabine and Shin fight, I just really liked getting to see them get a rematch especially since this fight was much longer and more evenly matched. And on top of that I really liked seeing Sabine use a mix of her Mandalorian and Jedi fighting styles to try and combat/defeat Shin. I also really loved the Ahsoka and Baylan fight, not just for the action and fight choreography but for the story behind their fight. The dynamic between these two characters was so interesting to me, I really liked getting to hear their interactions and dialogue with one another. Especially Baylan’s perspective/view point on Ahsoka and Anakin, and it kind of seemed like Baylan was taking his frustration for Anakain betraying the Jedi and becoming Darth Vader out on Ahsoka. Also I loved how their two fighting styles were so contrasting. Ahsoka was more agile and used her body as a part of her attacks whereas Baylan was more aggressive and used his physical strength and powerful saber swings to overpower her, much like Vader’s fighting style. Also Hera coming to their aid with Carson Teva and some other X-Wing pilots was cool to get to see. And again, seeing Jacen Syndulla in live action was pretty cool, I liked that they hinted at him having the force again too. And getting to see the Ghost in live action actually flying around for more than two seconds was so satisfying. And I loved getting to see Hera sitting in the cockpit of the ship again, it brought back some of those Rebels feelings. And I was very interested in Sabine’s decision because I felt like I could really feel/see the conflict within her. She knew that if she gave them the map she would be able to rescue Ezra but at the risk of Thrawn starting another war, and if not Ezra, one of the last people she considers as family, would be lost forever. And with how long it took for her to give Baylan the map back really made it feel like she was debating her decision up until the very last second. I just really liked how understandable they made it for her to come to this decision. And then we see Ahsoka waking up in what I can only guess is the World Between Worlds. Or some sort of gathering place for Spirits of the Force. This was so crazy, I totally wasn’t expecting this and I really never thought that they would bring this into live action. I’m so curious to see what will happen here and how this will factor into next week’s episode and the show was a whole Also the shots of Ahsoka waking up in the World Between Worlds really reminded me of the scene in Lord of the Rings where Gandalf is brought back to become Gandalf the White. So maybe this is a clue that when she re-emerges from the World Between Worlds she will be wearing the white cloak we originally saw her wearing in the Rebels ending. Then, in the very end of the episode, we see Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker. I was so happy and excited to see this moment. Getting to see Hayden Christensen, Anakin Skywalker and Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka Tano meeting in live action felt so amazing and special. And on top of that, hearing Hayden Christensen call Ahsoka Snips was beyond incredible to me, it just brought back all of those Clone Wars memories. I also really liked how it seemed like they added some de-aging or makeup to Hayden to make him appear more like his younger age in Revenge of the Sith. But, with that ominous Darth Vader theme lingering at the end, it really makes me question what is really going on here. I can’t wait to see where this will lead into next week’s episode, I’m just so curious, but excited, to see what will happen next. I am very curious to see how the ending of this episode will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. And I am still loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode. And I can’t believe that we are already halfway through this fantastic series. Rest in Peace Ray Stevenson
Your reactions bring me so much joy - your genuine emotion and excitement is amazing. None of my friends are hardcore Star Wars fans so while a lot of people I know enjoy it, they don't share the same level of enthusiasm so watching along with you guys and seeing you feel all the feelings like I did is great 😊
Ray Stevenson is amazing in this, he has the same demeanor and way that Obi-Wan (New Hope era), Qui-Gon, Yoda, and Vader in the sense that he speaks without emotion, not in a negative way, but just the way someone with with confidence and knowledge speaks. You can't help but be lured by it.
Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka so well and seeing live action Ahsoka and Anakin (Hayden) together for the first time omg and her smile seeing her master her brother again after so long was beautiful
More for those that watch the cartoons. As someone who is not one of those people, I’m just not seeing what’s so special about this series so far. Pretty underwhelming, IMHO. Hayden also appeared in the Kenobi Series.
Looking at the way Baylan held his saber in that stand-off leads me to believe he was a temple guard because they are very similar stances. It's also cool to see droids fighting each other in CQC since we haven't seen anything like that before. And I feel Baylan isn't going to rescue Thrawn, I have a feeling he could be going there to permanently end him or trap him, with how he acted when he destroyed the map.
I had this same thought. I suspect not, more likely he reviles the New Republic and the political class on Coruscant. I think he fears (rightly) that the Sith will return and the Republic will be able to do nothing to stop them - the obvious "why" for Thrawn is that he and any regime he established would be more humane than the Sith, more competent than the New Republic, and likely quite resistant to takeover by Jedi or Sith. But it's definitely possible he wants Thrawn's head. Actually travelling to Peridea just to prevent Thrawn's return does seem a bit extra, so if he is a double agent he's probably motivated by revenge - at the start he probably didn't know that Thrawn was as far away as another galaxy (none of us did), but he knows now and has had plenty of chances to kill Morgan and destroy the map which would almost certainly strand Thrawn forever if that was his only motivation, but I think it's very possible that Thrawn hurt somebody close to him and he's after vengeance.
I'm thinking that the Purrgil that they encountered earlier will be of help. I'm guessing that Ahsoka will need to have a connection with them like Ezra via the force.
@@hellfish2309 Maybe but I hope it's nothing more than a fun nod because it's a nonsensical idea (the map isn't carved on the outside of the ball, if it were then they wouldn't need the temple. And that isn't my fan supposition, it's what the actual show has both shown and told us). (unlike in Raiders, where the object itself had the instructions carved on it)
Ray Stevenson KILLED IT this episode!!! My favorite part of the whole show so far!! The mass speculation around Marrok just to have him go out like that had me rolling. I’m so glad you touched on the fights being the right blend cuz I see so many people expecting prequel fights. They’re definitely the best of the Disney LA duels. All ik is that next week’s about to be peak cuz WBW and Filoni’s directing. My only complaint is the chemistry between Ahsoka and Sabine is nonexistent. Besides that I’m LOVING IT!!
Eric just straight up walking off was AMAZING I slammed my chair so hard and nearly started crying seeing Hayden, I'm so glad we get him properly now and not just as a flashback like in Obi Wan's show
Great episode for so many reasons, and your reactions to the WBW at the end was everything I'd hoped for! Genuine joy! It's going to be a VERY long week!!
The people out there that are trashing this are insane. Seriously, just insane. This was the best "Star Wars" was have had in so long it isn't even close. So well done. Can't wait till next week.
Baylan moves like a proper knight. He feels heavy, measured, powerful. He's so god damn cool. Also Ahsoka did an Obi-Wan with her stance change to one shot that inquisitor
the best episode yet. Loved the details in the choreography and how it felt so much faster and more frenetic than the previous ones. Shin using similar moves to Baylan giving away the legacy of master and apprentice. And the incredibly bold and slay decision to have sabine join the villains + Everything Else (anakin)
The way Shin acts more aggressively when she goes into battle mode. She's not quiet anymore, doesn't wait for instructions, taunts her opponents and even taps into the dark side. Really wanna know where this comes from.
I am also very confused with the hierarchy. Baylan is very much higher in rank but Shin is not just his apprentice I think. She makes her own choices. And I am very interested in that dynamic.

Marrock just being some kinda crazy ghost thing living in a suit of armor is way cooler than any of the big reveal theories people were suggesting
Also if we think about it, it could still be someone, which magic is crazy so…
I never jumped into the Marrok theories because i knew all he would be was a new Inquisitor. Didn't expect him to be a reanimated corpse used to bring back with Nightsister magick though.
I just CAN'T believe it wasn't Ezra/Barriss/Maul/Snoke/Paploo/Mouse Droid!!
I won’t lie, I got chills when Carson said “Phoenix leader” ❤
She may be a general, but she is Phoenix leader
And that glorious sound of the Ghost entering and exiting hyperspace. One of Star Wars best sounds.

Such a shame that Ray Stevenson didn't live long enough to see the absolute Star Wars legend that he would become.

Eric's absolute love for Baylan is so great. Ray Stevenson did an incredible job. Rest in eternal peace.
Baylan is like a dark Obi wan, I love it!

Exactly what I've been thinking watching the flip-flopping of fans.
They did an incredible job creating a live-action In-Between. Amazingly like the animated version.
Only these guys understand the feelings of this show and the characters. They are true fans not filled with darkness and hate, instead, they can enjoy the spectacle and especially appreciate how well this was brought from animation to live action. Awesome show and, an awesome reaction.
My man, you are doing tricks on it😂
If I had to describe this episode in 1 word it would be "magic", the music, scenarios, fights, CGI, those dialogues. the participation of Baylan, and that cliffhanger, I think it is one of the best I've seen in my life, pure Star Wars, next week will be a barbarity

Never in my life would I ever expect to hear Eric say “Let him cook!”

Let him cook
Something about the way Baylan blocks blaster bolts is absolutely perfect to me. He will walk with purpose towards his target and deflect everything without missing a step. It's just so intimidating. He's so imposing. It really sucks that we lost Ray Stevenson because he has really created a 'villain' that I flat out love and it's only been a few episodes.
Yeah its similar to Vader when he casually bats the blaster bolts away. The difference is in Vader’s arrogance and Baylon’s nonchalance and no nonsense approach. He’s more of a “terminator” type. No emotion. I love it!
He is like Dooku experienced super intimidating, but calm vibe mixed with Vaders imposing figure and style of combat. I absolutely love it
If you watch closely when Ahsoka kills the inquisitor Marrock, he doesn't disintegrate entirely.
She's been through all that. I'm with Eric, she needs closure and I think this will be it for her to become Ahsoka The White.
To an extent, that's what we got.
@@fadedjemI was just talking about how he just seems trustworthy somehow

I can't even imagine the emotions Ahsoka is feeling. The small smile immediately replaced by fear as she really sees him, remembering how she saw him last. Anakin running off to save the Chancellor, to feeling his death as Order 66 occurs, to realizing he lives within a shroud of darkness, to seeing him appear once more as the mask is cut, to accepting he can't be saved as he says "Then you will die."
Ahsoka had to have met Luke before, and he may have told her of Anakin's fate right? Does she know he was brought back? There is clearly this underlying terror as she looks at him and Rosario portrays so many of these mixed emotions so well.
ahsoka met luke in Book of Boba Fett, and its kinda implied shes been guiding him on what to do next
@@AT32556 I should have specified that she had met Luke before this series, my mistake lol
I'm sure she knows, but she met and fought Vader and only heard Luke's story about his redemption. Easy to still feel fear when she sees Anakin.

I'm not sure that Sabine's blaster would even have dented the map considering how long it took a lightsaber to destroy it.
true
the starmap also instantly disappeared as soon as the lightsaber was turned on so clearly the damage was done. She could have inflicted minor damage and it would still render it useless seeing as "even one data point off will see us stranded in the void"

You guys are not going to believe episode 5. It's freaking beautiful...
Actually travelling to Peridea just to prevent Thrawn's return does seem a bit extra, so if he is a double agent he's probably motivated by revenge - at the start he probably didn't know that Thrawn was as far away as another galaxy (none of us did), but he knows now and has had plenty of chances to kill Morgan and destroy the map which would almost certainly strand Thrawn forever if that was his only motivation, but I think it's very possible that Thrawn hurt somebody close to him and he's after vengeance.
i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again, i will never get tired of seeing ships jump into hyperspace
I'm thinking that the Purrgil that they encountered earlier will be of help. I'm guessing that Ahsoka will need to have a connection with them like Ezra via the force.
Probably, but I feel Aaron’s hand burn theory will pay off a little as it would be Dave nodding to “Raiders of the Lost Ark”

I live for your guys' Star Wars content, like honestly look forward to stuff after work. Thanks for making content!
Baylan moves like a proper knight. He feels heavy, measured, powerful. He's so god damn cool. Also Ahsoka did an Obi-Wan with her stance change to one shot that inquisitor
21:16 I love how Eric got out of his chair. I went absolutely f**kin nuts when Anakin showed up!
the best episode yet. Loved the details in the choreography and how it felt so much faster and more frenetic than the previous ones. Shin using similar moves to Baylan giving away the legacy of master and apprentice. And the incredibly bold and slay decision to have sabine join the villains + Everything Else (anakin)
I mean let's face it. Sabine was always going to prioritize bringing Ezra home no matter the cost.
i was actually thinking the same with ahsoka burning the map into her hand :D
The way Shin acts more aggressively when she goes into battle mode. She's not quiet anymore, doesn't wait for instructions, taunts her opponents and even taps into the dark side. Really wanna know where this comes from.
I am also very confused with the hierarchy. Baylan is very much higher in rank but Shin is not just his apprentice I think. She makes her own choices. And I am very interested in that dynamic.
