It's really awesome to see another African American win the James Beard Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award and who better it be than Jessica B Harris, congrats. It's also cool to see what inspiring things Carla Hall had to say about Jessica and see Jessica B Harris appear with Sara Moulton on TV.

Ms. Harris’s books are an inspiration. So glad to see her get the recognition of a lifetime achievement award.

There is NO SUCH THING as an "indigenous" American. EVERYBODY came here from somewhere els. Indigenous means "Always Here" That is NOT the case in any of the America's. We were in a 10,000 year ice age. NOBODY was here before that. The first here were the Ancient AINU from Asia. Do some study! btw, not all food has African roots, either.

You need to do your research on Native Americans because they've been in America long before Columbus discovered it.
