They are good but also very strong when they contain the radiance they are strong to get control to try and kill him self which is reason why he stabs himself in the fight

The fact that all 3 of them are siblings makes this so much better. The Knight is like the naughty little brother, Hornet is the responsible sister and The Hollow Knight is the quiet big brother.
Imagine, if you will, that you are minding your business, building with Legos, ans your naughty little sibling comes in, makes eye contact with you, and just *dies*
And then your sister runs in shouting about the cookie jar
I like imagining THK is just barely more mature than The Knight and is often times an accomplice in the little things schemes

best part about the siblings thing is that i think hornet is the youngest out of all of them

The way hornet reacted to seeing the shade skip was just legendary. The sudden “huh?” And the eyes just bulging is why I came back to watch this a 2nd time.

The fact he didn't try crystal dashing during the mantis claw surprised me more than it should
It did try mantis claw but wall was slanted

I spent most of my Hollow Knight playthrough forgetting the crystal dash existed lol
You don’t ever really *need* it outside of a handful of super long empty hallways that were obviously designed around the crystal dash, whereas the regular dash and double jump are all useful everywhere.

I love this. I love this so much. I love the fact that they could have asked Hollow for help, but instead they literally off themselves with a Lego to access a cookie jar. This is art.

Between the different techniques Ghost used, the detail of THK's nail being on the rack with Hornet's and Ghost's, plus the proposed LEGO Ideas Hollow Knight set, perfect animatic.
Amazing! The way Hornet looks when encountering the shade skip, was absolutely hilarious
Man, this was HILLARIOUS! I love the way you signified that all the three siblings live there with the nails on the wall. I love all the various skips, and the lego joke. And I love that Ghost didn't just ask Hollow to get the cookies. They wanted THE ACCOMPLISHMENT. Path of Pain can do that to a person.
Overall, this is wonderful and filled with sibling energy

I love animations that add game mechanics, this is so fucking funny
So I just realized this, but all the sound effects are ones found in the actual game. Like, every sound was just something they could’ve taken from the sound files, even the jumping and cloth rustling sounds. It really adds to the believability that we’re inside their world! Nice little touch, you could have just found some plain old run-of-the-mill sfx, but you chose those specifically and made them work for the story!
The Path of Pain music at the end gave me war flashbacks and made me feel like Hornet there
The absolute horror on Hornet's face seeing that Ghost straight up was willing to KILL HIMSELF just to get those cookies XD

You know I had a similar concept but I drew it out and it was Hornet, The Knight, and H.K. trying to get the cookie jar. There were two endings, one is when they failed while the other was they all got a cookie.

I've only really succeeded at 1 particular skip in HK, and it was the Shade Skip at the end. I was very pleased to see the one thing I could manage being the punchline, hehe.

Summer was apparently full of great Hollow Knight animations, but ~September 20 is when RUclips actually started reccomendeding them (seriously, Home went from none to like 7 this week!)

After the victory over radiance, there was nothing left in Hallownest except a Hornet, a Hollow Knight and another Hollow Knight. The first remained normal, the second, having lost the goal, degraded to the level of a child, and the third remained disabled.
