I just watched the movie, but I wanna watch it again. It was so good, I loved everything about it. The whole plot twist, the way the actors acted, and everything else. I had expected the girl to go all psycho, but I was still really shocked. It's really sad that Netflix only streams this today, thankfully I was able to watch it
Finally watched it. Both the actresses were excellent in their roles. The movie was straightforward in a good way besides the ending. I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire movie. The concept is really similar to Signal. I loved it. Koreans keep impressing me repeatedly after Forgotten, Time to Hunt, Lucid Dream and now The Call. Hopefully more Korean movies come on Netflix Spoilers I never knew the girl of 1999 would be an assassin and her step mother a Shaman. Kind of sad Park Shin Hye's mom died though after all the efforts. The 1999 girl was psychotic. Although I feel it was because of her stepmother's excorcisms that she turned out that way. Also they never explained how the past and present can be connected. The Strawberry man was so innocent. He should not have died. When Park Shin Hye's stomach was burned it was really scary. When the mother ultimately dies I felt so surprised. All the efforts went to waste. I still don't know if it's a good way to end the movie.
You should watch the official trailer. It explains a lot of the plotline. I was super confused with this one but it's basically about two girls 20 years apart who can communicate through phone. So like signal, but much more darker in tone because of a secret that entangles their lives because one of them is a murderer
Korean Dramas are so good when it comes to psychological twists and turns. Definitely worth watching especially for Park Shin Hye. ✔️✔️✔️
