F-Series Trucks Seized Bed Bolt Removal

Boy oh boy if you guys run into these bed bolts, they can be hell. This is how i remove the bed bolts off of the F-Series Ford trucks. Luckily they smartened up and now newer models have the inverted torx. Thank you guys for watching and I’ll see y’all around on the next video.

that is usually how it turns out. the factory used u nuts that rust away.

Same here. Currently grinding the head off the bolts.

@@KevinHood25 On some models the steel of thee bolts is soft so even start with a 5/16 drill bit then go to a half inch bit made for tempered metals. Took me like all of 15 minutes a bold. We had 4 that did not what to let go so I went ape sheet & drilled em out. I used my air hammer to ram em out the other side. Worked 4 me.... Should work for everyone that don't wanna be on their knees all day grinding the bolts out.
