Great to see the young lady out and about, learning about life and death and animal control. Very much interested in what your college student ( biology I think she said ) wrote in her daily notes about using trapping for animal control.✌🏻👍🇺🇸🙏🏽😎 nice catches today.👍

Since I have started catching more live beavers, they are a good trap to use.

Excellent video and it is good to see your daughter. Is there working with you? That’s what kids need to be doing spending time with their parents to learn different trades.

I know you feeling about setting K9 traps! I moved to Arkansas 5 years ago to hunt fish and trap. I have trapped since I was 9, almost 50 years now. I love trapping coyotes. It’s a BIG reason we moved here after retiring. But after moving I found out that most of the people in this part of Arkansas have 3 to 5 dogs per house and most people let them all run loose. So I can’t even set a trap on my own property, because I will catch a dog. Actually I could catch at least 6 different ones on my 10 acres. The sad part is we don’t live next to hot springs or Little Rock. We live in a county that the federal government owns almost 75% of. Not that many people. I trapped in Illinois my whole life and most traps weren’t a mile or 2 from the nearest house. But in all my years trappin I only caught 2 dogs. I guess people in Arkansas really don’t care about their dogs and just let them run wild? Sorry to rant. Just letting you know, I feel your pain!😎

I understand the frustration, and it's an unfortunate reality we have to deal with. I honestly believe most do not care if the animal comes back home or not.

@ You are exactly right. I know they don’t. 1 gets hit almost every week in the small town we live by. Most of the time they lay there for a couple days before they finally get picked up. Not how I would treat any dog of mine!

You DO a very good job with those dogs,
Put together a video on this issue, it will be good for trapping and your channel.
    GOOD WORK

This turning animals loose to fend for themselves after being a pet is criminal and has to stop. If you cannot afford a dog , cat, horse , or any of the others then do not take them and make a pet out of them. Yes, horses are turned loose too.
