Many people have this glitch where axle doesn't talk, to fix this you need to rejoin a bunch of times. I would recommend you take it up to Homemademeal.
I noticed an interesting detail after noticing something on the wiki Axle has the number A210 on his chassis, which matches both the subject number on Miles' back, and the block number in the holding cell in the beginning. Axle really is your *PERSONAL* testing companion, which implies some pretty interesting things about Ecliptic Industries. I'm curious where Chapter 2 will take the story.
I also saw 4 other rooms next to 210's room (or was it 3? Can't remember.) and a facility door behind. I think Axle only does tests for those other test subjects. Maybe "Miles" (that's what you called him) is the first test subject that Axle has met. P.S. I just realised that he openly says that he is your first test subject, bruh 😅

Well we knew that from the beginning, Axle just gets rebranded each test subject. Also how do you know the test subject's name is miles?
