Pitting is not hammer action on impeller blade it's actually a localised corrosion which causes holes and cavities on metal . generally caused due to cavitation or very high O2 content in water.

@@merchantnavydecoded i prefer first you RS khurmi 5000 MCQ book is the best book to clear all basic... 2 nd things is mock test of all topis which you have to cover.... You have to attempt all questions of Examveda and indiabix website . Best to understand and memories .... As in Sir's last videos of interview based they already discussed on it. Mehnat kro bs... Sir, my eye sight is -8D. I have completed MTech in IIT and worked in industry for 1.5 years. I am very much intersted to join Merchant navy. My age is 26. Will my MTech is a hindrance to cracking the GME sponshorship test??
Dear Shyam ,
After doing MTech from IIT Madras ,I surely see a great potential in you.
My suggestion , go for something more towards a field to which you have devoted so much.
I guess the bright side of Merchant Navy , fast money is attracting you but that's short term and a small mistake , that also does not exist. So my suggestion go for further studies or a job in your domain.
Still if you insist , then go ahead with AEMA . You don't have age by your side , that can be a problem as well. Your eyesight should not be an issue

Well this is the right time I guess. Why wait , prepare and attack.
Check your criteria for anglo and ims goa. Both are good colleges
Sir i have completed my mechanical degree in 5 years am i eligible for anglo eastern i have all the other criteria 10th 90% and puc 90%
Beat the best way is to mail all these collges and get all the information. They will guide you better .

Basically it's bsc physical science with computer science at Delhi University (S.G.T.B khalsa college)
As I read it somewhere I need 60% average in bsc degree to join DNS course and I doubt if I can get 60% frankly speaking I didn't took bsc seriously but I will try my best this time.
But am not an average or below average student I just didn't took seriously 12th/bsc seriously coz. of games/phone/procastination etc I don't blame anyone it's my mistakes.
Sir, Am 20 now can u tell what's the average age of GME aspirants I doubt that I will be oldest aspirant for GME if I clear my BTech after my bsc (20+4) I will be of 24-25 when I will be giving GME
In your advice will it be good to do BTech mechanical engineering after bsc especially for marine eng?
4years of BTech and 1year of GME means in 5years I will be in ships.
Is it worth spending 5years of my life ?
And money my father told me to become a Sub-Inscpector by clearing SSC-CPO but I denied I said I will join Merchant navy as an engineer. My parents are supportive BTW.
And Sir, is it true that in Eng. Dept the promotion is faster than deck department. ? I saw it in a video on RUclips.
Aside from promotion I love science stuff so much that navigation will be boring for me.
@@amanpreetsingh3131 beta I would not suggest you to go for GME at all. It will be like a complete role reversal and not worth it. Better you try doing something you are good at and invest those years of hardwork there.
