- Just bought this ‘56 Chevy Bel-Air at an estate sale yesterday. According to the brother of the previous owner it had been sitting there for 40 years. Hopefully we can bring it back to life so follow along!

I had a 56 two door post 50 yrs ago. Six cyl with 3 on the tree and a split 6 manifold with dual exhaust. Great car still miss it.

Nice find. They still out there. Cool colour combo. You can buy fender fronts and weld in. Front clip was painted at another factory. That’s why they all off colour. Just clean up. kitty hair it and rattle can to match. Better a survivor. Good luck👍👍.

I wish I could do something like this but I have medical issues and enjoy watching other people fixing up cars that I remember as a kid growing up. Indian Ivory and Aztec Copper was a beautiful color combo
I haven’t ran the trim tag info yet but I believe that’s the original paint on the car. I agree, it is a beautiful color combo. Thanks for watching
@@deepsouthclassics9446my daughter is called Indian Ivory and Sierra gold. I could be wrong. I only own the same car the same color for a few decades parrot it's been family since it was new. It looks a little better than this one just to put it in proper context. It's only 98,000 miles would it take it would look better. I probably should have sold at 10 years ago when I had this fabulous offer. Right away anybody can like a 57 and 55 in Texas special person to love the 56. That's my favorite part of the three by the way. Great Haul

Hopefully it won’t be too bad on the quarter panel. I done paint and body work for almost 20 years for a living until a heart attack took me out of the game. Maybe I can handle it

They an't original hub caps for a Belair!
Yea someone had done some parts swapping. I realized later the Bel-Air hubcaps were different
probably was in a front end wreck
It doesn’t appear to have been wrecked, I think the hood was probably taken off when they started disassembling the top of the engine. Thanks for watching
