Watch some Elon videos and pay close attention to when he's asked about Twitter/X....Elon doesn't give a flying rip about what people call it. He has much bigger concerns to deal with in his life. Heck, when he was talking to Joe even he called it Twitter.
"Just ignore it." Depends on the severity of the accusation and the level of clout of the target. A lot of the noise will eventually subside, but in today's Internet era, our online reputation can be ruined forever over one allegation, whether it's proven true or not. Public figures are put under a microscope and have much less leeway in this regard. As for polarizing figures like Trump, it's impossible for people like him to get cancelled because he invites controversy as part of his shtick.
Relatively speaking, US culture has become increasingly more sensitive to any sort of pejorative insinuations, to the current level where people are routinely charged with offenses such as microaggressions and linguistic omissions. Cancel Culture is the apparition of Orwell's nightmare where free speech is denounced and free thinkers are deemed thought-criminals.
Nah- people were fine saying whatever... the whole "unsafe to speak up" cuck angle is quite new. Now the fear people have is not virtue signalling enough to keep up with their peer group.
@6:00 It's really mean to take people to law enforcement that broke the law? I love your videos but sometimes....wow. Your thinking goes completely away for the sake of feels.
@@zizendorf We have laws for a reason, and invading someone's country and disregarding their laws is immoral. It's ok to disagree with people about that, but we'd make a lot more progress as a nation if people didn't make condescending comments or insult each other for disagreeing on where that line is.
Dr. Sam is the poster boy illustrating equanimity! It's truly his claim to fame. He tries to teach his gift. Some get it and some don't. He's intentionally slow to react, if at all... for hot topics of great moral or emotional weight, he has to "hold that" thought for a while. It's a gift.

Self-censorship is a huge deal .

Sam's evil woke agenda: Pretending there's not much censorship

You're asking this now? After 7 and a half years of it happening every single day?
Sam, I wonder if 15 years ago, "nobody got upset", or "nobody felt safe expressing their upset"? (PS I love your channel)

We must look away from crime.
@mjs28s Wow! Did you even hear the story? There's a context here. Concerned about your moral compass. Seems law is above morality for you. Sorry.
