5:55 ive never had a scrollwheel break on my even tho i use it for reset and cone bind, ive had 2 superlights, 1 razer viper v2 pro and now a lamzu atlantis 4k og for me its the side buttons that break since i use them for build binds both my superlights broke in less than 4 months and my viper v2 pro in only 2 months and i couldnt get refunds might have to try and fix my viper v2 pro myself since i really enjoy the mouse all tho i was really disappointed it didnt come with the 4k dongle.
After trying 240hz (Rog Strix XG259CM) i can tell its a huge step up from 144hz. Also having stable 240fps on my new pc makes fortnite and especially endgames a whole different game
For Mice, I have used the Glorious Model O Wired for 2 years and have had 0 issues with build quality including scroll wheel and the side buttons. Some people complain but I love the mouse and it is also pretty light at 68 grams
I got question will it be like the razor desthadder v2 pro wireless I use that currently and when I used my viper mini (wired) same dpi and same settings it feels slower
@Zemixlol The Model O is 20 grams lighter than the Razer Deathadder v2 pro (88 vs 68 grams) It also features a more ambidextrous shape similar to the Viper Mini. It goes up to 12,000 DPI but 1600 or less is plenty for Fortnite. It also has less delay since it is wired but you can also buy the Wireless option for slightly more expensive
i can vouch for this mouse, ive had it for around the same amount of time and it is amazing, Super light with a good feel to it, only thing bad i have to say is that it has alot of holes on the top which is bad if get sweaty hands when playing as the buildup will get inside the mouse and could slow it down
@@AyviateFN alright and do you know why it feels slower on when switching from Deathadder to viper mini I could just be insane and not used to the mouse yet as it is small. But it’s same settings as my deathsdder
Before anything: All the peripheral categories talked about in this video dont have an objective best. Behind all of them there is a really big rabbit hole that you can dive into and at the end, it always comes down to personal preference. 1. Monitor: Now, the Monitor mentioned here is a 360Hz 1440p display by Alienware. Why I wouldn’t recommend it for competitive Fortnite: It is 1440p. Now even if you happen to be able to run Fortnite at 1440p with 360FPS, you will see added latency over 1080p. And obviously, most people will not get that anyway. Especially if you end up in a stacked endgame, which is where we want to avoid frame drops at all costs. You could by this Monitor and use it at 1080p, however, since it is 27“, the pixel density will not look appealing at all. Also, Colors and Ghosting are nothing more than decent. If you crave good colours, look at one of the newer OLED Monitor, most of them are 1440p tho. If you crave low Ghosting, which I highly recommend if you look for good gaming performance, either look at BenQ Zowie displays with DyAC+ or any Display with NVIDIAs ULMB 2. Having tried both of them, ULMB 2 is the best gaming experience I’ve ever had. What monitor specifically I would recommend is the ASUS PG248QP. It is a 540Hz monitor (I use it at 360Hz because getting stable 540FPS ingame is near impossible.) 1080 (lower latency than 1440p) 24.1“ (good enough pixel density) display with ULMB 2. Not gonna go into depth with color accuracy, it is pretty good in that too though, if you use the correct settings. It is currently prized at 1000€ on Amazon (DE/GER), which is a lot, but the category is unlimited budget anyway. With the budget pick I don’t really have any problems. For that low of a price, the trade of is rather minimal. The 400$ pick once again 1440p which will add latency even on the best PC components money can buy you. For competitive, not optimal and not required either. For a similar price (419€ on Amazon [DE/GER]) you can get the Acer X252QF, a 360Hz (overclock to 390Hz), 1080p, 24.5inch panel. Their motion blur reduction (VRB) is also really good and the colours are good too if tuned correctly (out of the box they are nothing more than ok). 2. Keyboard: The wooting is undoubtedly the fastest keyboard on the current market (except for the 80He wooting is currently making since it will feature 8kHz). The build quality is also rather impressive for a gaming keyboard, not to mention that you can mod it to make it not just faster but also better looking, sounding or feeling. For the budget pick I really do think that the Huntsman mini isn’t bad at all. Build quality, sound and so on may not be the best, talking pure performance for a decent price though, it is rather good. 3. Mouse With gaming mice, there is a lot of different options. This really is the area where I would recommend everyone to dive into the rabbit hole a bit deeper themselves. Things to consider are: weight, weight distribution, polling rate, sensor, main click feeling, side buttons, shape, feet… Talking purely spec based, the Finalmouse ULX is the best. But the weight will likely be to low for most people. If you want to inform yourself a bit, check out channels like optimum tech or boardzy. For the budget mouse, the Darmoshark V3 is rather good. 4. Mousepad: As marrentm says, it is a lot of preference. Both the Hayate Otsu and the Aqua Control 2 are pads that are high quality and neither really slow nor really fast. The Aqua Control+ is slightly slower and also slightly lower quality. These are definitely mousepads you can try out, if you don’t know what you really want in a mousepad. 5. Headset: If you are in the market for an 800$ headset, consider diving really deep into the audiophile scene. There are so many options even in this price area and all of them are really different. The Cloud III as a slightly more budget oriented headset really isn’t a bad pick. I‘ve heard a lot of people complaining about the microphone dying on them rather quickly. However, I don’t have the problem and I also know a lot of people who don’t, it might just be random that some people in my closer circle experience problems with it. 5: Chair Once again, if you are looking to buy a chair of 1000$ or higher, dive a bit deeper into the subject and make sure the chair fits your likings. The Ikea Markus is something that I’ve been recommending to people for a while now. You might have to uninstall the arm rests tho, since they are quite tall and you might bot be able to get them under your desk (or you have to sit rather low). If there’s any questions or any criticism, let me know, I will try my best to answer.
ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QM1A good for ryzen 5 7500f 3060ti 6000mhz cl38 +msi b650 gaming plus wifi motherboard? for 270hz with a gk61 yellow switches, hyperx cloud alpha and logitech g pro wired?
@@refiex1966 Should be good, make sure to enable ELMB on it. Also you might not get consistent 270FPS ingame, just test your FPS a bit with it capped to 240 ingame and see if it is stable.
OLED monitors are the superior choice for competitive gaming and gaming in general. 0.03ms response time. NO ghosting. Amazing contrast and colors. You should consider redoing this video just to change that part. If you have $1000 to spend on a monitor, I'd expect nothing less than OLED. If I picked up that $900 Alienware you recommended, and then played on a 240-360Hz OLED, I'd be extremely disappointed with my purchase
@@tommyvu8374I swear I looked up the monitor before I commented and it wasn't OLED. But I just now looked it up again and it says it's OLED. Maybe I googled the wrong monitor name
best monitor in the world is a far stretch from truth dont forget the asus rog 540 hz wich yes it is overkill but still for the same price you get more hz and if you have a top tier set up like he said in the video it wont be a problem to reach it in early to mid game (its also 1920-1080 res so it can handle better) in my opinion the perfect "overkill" setup would be: the asus rog 540 hz screen -wooting 60 he -logitech g pro wierless 2.0 - for a head set i recomend you try multiple and see wich fits best and feels the best in game, for a gaming pc just take the most high end stuff like 4090 rysen or intel just take the best.
I agree with you. I want to get that 540 hz monitor. I already have a wooting and a 3090. But I think the Wl Beast X mouse is better then the superlight 2 from my experience
Just a quick question: can you make some content for controller players? A lot of your videos are mainly for pc players and i want to improve on pc controller.
The only issue i found with the AW2725DF is that it was much dimmer than my old monitor and it made it really hard to see certain things in game, I ended up returning it and switching back to a 144hz panel for now
for another budget mouse i'd say that g402 is a good one i've been using one for a long time, the scroll wheel is fantastic and side buttons are also good and no issues atm
I have the aqua control ll mouse pad medium with the same design you showed for the aqua control plus, and can say he is right. The mousepad feels a bit rough, and with my experience, hard to keep really clean, I find myself brisking over little pieces of whatever, that seem impossible to get out. Also, for anyone wondering about headsets, if you can't afford the Cloud 3's at $100, the cloud 2's are almost just as good.

Great video I just got the razor viper instead of my gpx but can’t afford a apex pro or wooting now, would a apex 9 mini work or gk61 with yellow switches or should I just get the huntsman mini
Also know how it is holding you back. For me it's my PC. I need a better GPU. It's not affecting my gameplay right now but as I progress as a player and get into intense endgames my pc will be a limitation.
I recently switched from a huntsman mini to a wooting 60he. The wooting is definitely better but the huntsman is great for the price point. I also have the viper v2 pro and couldn't be happier with it. Great products that i definitely recommend.
I have a huntsman mini right now, thinking about maybe buying a new keyboard. You think the wooting 60he is much better and more responsive? Like from what you feel in fights and stuff
@roxannewolf2383 The wooting is the fastest gaming keyboard and they are adding a new function called rappy snappy which will improve rapid trigger even more.
I use the razer deathadder v3 and its perfect, good scroll wheel, side buttons and mouse click + its pretty lightweight and 8000hz polling rate and up to 16000 dpi
imo the hyperx pulse fire haste is better than the glorious model o the haste comes in at around 50 bucks(i bought mine for 39 on sale) and with that u get a better build quality mouse grip tape and mouse skates to replace the ones on there if they break
updated list best monitor asus 480hz 2k oled best keyboard wooting 60 but wooting 80he comings its better mouse well the best mouse is hard to find its called razer viper mini signature edition but if you cant find viper v3 pro is second best
What ever you’re used to playing on will obviously feel easier but jn the long run in my opinion, Keyboard and Mouse have a few advantages to controller
Depends can you place top 5k in your region on your current input if no then probally switch because kbm allows you to reach a much higher skill ceiling much faster
kbm is harder to learn, but you will play better than controller once you get over the skill curve. if you don't want to invest as much time, keep using controller itll be fine
Best Controllers for Fortnite The SCUF Reflex fps is the best controller coming with many amazing features, however it can break super easily (Mine has broken twice) Starting at $300 usd The PlayStation duel sense edge( $220 USD) is an amazing alternitive as it comes with replacable joy sticks. If u get drift u can got the shops and buy a new one 15 bucks, How ever it only comes with 2 paddles. In my opinion for fortnite 2paddles is enough and the duelsense edge will be a better choice
marrent, try the loghitech g pro, not the superlight, is cheaper, it does not have any problems with the scrooll whell and its like 10 grams more than the superlight, and is the exact same shape

@marrent is koorui 24e4 alsov good or no ?
Can vouch for the hayate otsu, great mousepad, though I have it in xsoft
I recently switched from a huntsman mini to a wooting 60he. The wooting is definitely better but the huntsman is great for the price point. I also have the viper v2 pro and couldn't be happier with it. Great products that i definitely recommend.
I have a huntsman mini right now, thinking about maybe buying a new keyboard. You think the wooting 60he is much better and more responsive? Like from what you feel in fights and stuff
@roxannewolf2383 The wooting is the fastest gaming keyboard and they are adding a new function called rappy snappy which will improve rapid trigger even more.
@@Fortnite1Goat that's insane that it can be faster, but "rappy snappy?"💀
Sounds like a failed rapper's name
@@roxannewolf2383 Indeed. It's first coming in the wooting 80he then it'll be updated on the 60he.
@@Fortnite1Goat interesting...
I have the 27inch version of that 165hz koorui and I must say it’s incredible value for price
(I got it for under £100 on sale)
I use the razer deathadder v3 and its perfect, good scroll wheel, side buttons and mouse click + its pretty lightweight and 8000hz polling rate and up to 16000 dpi
imo the hyperx pulse fire haste is better than the glorious model o the haste comes in at around 50 bucks(i bought mine for 39 on sale) and with that u get a better build quality mouse grip tape and mouse skates to replace the ones on there if they break
updated list
best monitor asus 480hz 2k oled
best keyboard wooting 60 but wooting 80he comings its better
mouse well the best mouse is hard to find its called razer viper mini signature edition but if you cant find viper v3 pro is second best
Yo Marrentm, answer my question pls. Is it still worth it to play controller on PC for comp or is it better to just switch to KBM?
What ever you’re used to playing on will obviously feel easier but jn the long run in my opinion, Keyboard and Mouse have a few advantages to controller
Depends can you place top 5k in your region on your current input if no then probally switch because kbm allows you to reach a much higher skill ceiling much faster
kbm is harder to learn, but you will play better than controller once you get over the skill curve. if you don't want to invest as much time, keep using controller itll be fine
I disagree, kbm has a higher skill ceiling and is easy to learn after 1 week or less
Heard you mention 2k monitors, you suggest playing comp on 1440p since everyone plays on 1080p?
I think any mechanical keyboard with yellow optical switches easily beats razer huntsman mini by speed
What about best custom controller?
How do you rate the Benq Zowie monitor that pros are always raving about?
The secptre c25 is 240hz 24in all for 130 dollar had it for 4 months now and no issues so i would recommend that for people on a budget
Hey marren, in build fights im so good and beat pro players but in game i lose to an average champ player. any tips?
If you buy literally any ergonomic chair you’ll be good
As long as it has a back support
Best Controllers for Fortnite
The SCUF Reflex fps is the best controller coming with many amazing features, however it can break super easily (Mine has broken twice) Starting at $300 usd
The PlayStation duel sense edge( $220 USD) is an amazing alternitive as it comes with replacable joy sticks.
Ahhhh mate you put the same link for the mid n low range monitors
Hey marrem you u should promote your Valorant channel so it can take off as well
Yo I just have a question, I have an OLED display 240hz monitor from ASUS 27in for €1400. Isn't it better or did I just waste money😭?
what do you think of the logitech g335 as a budget headset?
hi can you do a vid for console plz like ps5 monitors and best controllers
Best mid budget keyboard is polar 65! Its 120$ and its as fast as apex pro and the wooting
I hear the VXE r1 pro as the best budget mouse apparently
I’ve had my g pro x superlight for almost 4 years and I’ve never had an issue with the scroll wheel. So not sure about the ‘issues’ with it.
@marrentm is there a way you can train me ? Im dia 1 and im looking to enter the competitive stage while having good points. Else tysm for your super videos that helped me soooo much 🤩❤️
I use the apex pro mini but I was going to get the wooting but it costed to much for shipping 😢
@marrentm you missed the wlmouse beast x medium or mini, really good for the price and light
ninjutso sora v2 is equal for 50 dollars less
@@Ben29-31 true but i dont like the shape
@@kunawyd shape is amazing for me
this video is really helpful thanks
rly helpful yet you posted this 3min into the video?
Nice video Mr marrentm but i play on controller, and ypu didnt mention any controllers
The darmo shark is a rebrand of glorious model o same as attack shark x3 its good or model o enjoy 😁
2:27 this is my moniter , for anyone still doubting this is so fucking worth it
For mice the deathadder v3 pro is the best
For the huntsman mini, its better red linear or purple clicky?
Is it strange the AW monitor isn't gsync? Or is gysnc no longer a big consideration for input delay? Also seems to only be in 27 inch - was playing at 1440p weird?
can u do the best pc build for different fps levels like 360, 240 and 144?
just look around on youtube theres tons of build guides for different price ranges. also depends on how shitty you are willing to make your game look
the pulsar x2v2 is the best mouse i've used to date. Also, 4D gaming makes one of the best mousepads and is owned by ex-pro Chap!
