A suggestion when it comes to the patreon thing. If you want to avoid double working, I'd suggest uploading a version you haven't censored yet to patreon first then adding the bleeps and uploading to youtube. Patreon subscribers get videos first and you dont have to go back and re-edit a video you already edited.
I'd get in on the patreon, and if you did it this way, it would be so much better.
I could be wrong, but I think he meant he would re-edit older videos for a backlog of content, and then presumably do the logical thing you said for videos going forward.

People are too broke for patreon, just make a new channel and let em rip, use sponsors for revenue if it gets demonitized. You have the footage and if it's uncut, no editing required. Free for the fans, still opportunity to make coin, and your main channel still pays the bills
The reason the videos get demonetized is because most sponsors don't want to be affiliated with mature content in any sense. I understand what you're suggesting, but I think it would basically be the same issue, trying to find sponsors that are open to being pushed with "mature" content
@@littlemanzr7 fair enough, but could attract the sponsors who don't care, alcohol , weed companies, crypto etc, like wouldn't be a monster for the bank account, but the footage already exists and if raw and uncut, it's minimal effort to post. I do feel you tho.

As a rule of thumb Patreon gets videos first. Post the original to Patreon, then edit and post to RUclips.

Suggestion for Patreon and uncensored content:
You could upload the video to your patreon first, then ad the censors and upload that version to yt. Just so you don’t have to unedit anything, and now people aren’t just paying for uncensored content, they’re paying to get it early too.

Why not just edit the video uncensored, save that file, copy it and add censors to the copy? Needless complaints. Not trying to say it shouldn't be paid, I agree it should. I'd also say you should upload the uncensored to Patreon, then a day or so later upload to RUclips. You have too many viewers to be tossing out such opportunities.
