Myth #3... Yes! We had a reel go "viral for us" and reach 6+M and it was the "worst" one I have ever done, well at least production wise. That content was really good though... so I think about that often when I am creating seron reels- less is more, content is king and great production isn't always valued. thanks for all your guidance through the years- your content is so helpful!
I love myth #1. On TikTok, we post new content, but we also recycle old content constantly and it attracts new people, new comments, new engagement almost every time. In fact, if a post doesn't go well. I will delete it and re-post it. It's amazing how it's luck of the draw. What got 300 views one day might get 5,000 another day.
Interesting. I'd love to do that on that great TikTok and RUclips Shorts posts that, for whatever reason, go nowhere. But I had heard that the platforms frown on that as they consider it "spamming".
Thanks for saying, what at times, people are unwilling to say and addressing some potentially misguided and harmful conversations regarding church and social.
It's funny - when I did my final review on this video, I just assumed that was a hiccup with my network connection. Nope. That's a rendering error we missed. Apologies!
I think there's a brief section where it's off during the first minute -- but I'm starting to think it might be intentional since the rest of the video is normal. Either that, or I should worry a lot less about my small church tech mistakes, seeing as this past week a very popular podcast with a big professional team posted the wrong video, POTUS' tech team didn't play the track they were supposed to, and Brady Shearer had a couple seconds of de-synced audio :D
@@prochurchtools Love it! You know you're doing it right when mistakes 1) make your point stronger and 2) help people to feel better about their own efforts.
Thank you, Brady. Suspicion of others and their motives is not a spiritual gift. Pro Church tools helped me build a church website back in the mid-teens and grow a following of over 1800 on Facebook. Your advice is always right on the money! I am no longer pastoring but I am looking for ways to improve my outreach on Social Media. Do you have anything for us single individuals or small teams to make ourselves more effective on social media?
Hey Randy! Appreciate the kind words. All of our work is still focused on churches, but check out our recent podcasts here for some more focused social content: www.youtube.com/@prochurchtoolsshow
Why are all these folks calling you "Brade", your name is Brady and I respect you enough to use your full and given name (I'd use your middle name if I knew it, actually, maybe I'll just make it up). Thanks for the thoughtful content Brady Allen Shearer.
Brady Cole Jabez Shearer. My friends call me Brade. Sometimes when I’m presenting these videos I’ll just say it without even thinking because my full name is so rarely used.
I need to let myself relax with #3. I've grown to hate making the vertical clips but it was because I was putting too much effort into them.
That's great to hear about your recovery! Your insights have greatly impacted my community's social media over the years. God bless you, Brady.
Appreciate the kind words.
I’m glad the surgery went well! Praying for you in recovery!
Great video sir, I make a lot of these points to church leaders as well...good to know I'm not out here on a limb by myself!

Was it in my end? The audio didn’t sync up at the beginning. Trying to pinpoint the issue.

@@TheresaLuchuk As I say, quite ironically, at 1:46: "Invariably, there will be hiccups!" 🙃

Don’t worry about the mistake I’m the beginning everyone will assume is the wifi fault 😂
Classic intentional mistake to attract more comments on the video. Nailed it.

@@prochurchtools What a power move. Respect. Engagement in disguise.
@@prochurchtools Think about the hundreds of error-free posts it took to setup this strategy 🙂
