The XM3s had the best sound quality of any earphones I’ve ever owned. My XM5s have that same incredible sound quality but with better battery life. ❤️

I just bought these due to my m4s terrible battery drain that seemed to be a problem for everyone. These are definitely a step up. The custom sound settings and the technology make them sound amazing! The battery is great...for now!
Hope this won't have the battery issue of the xm4.... had to consider this because my xm4 are unusable b/c of battery life.

Return them for fixing my broken XM4, they'll be returning back mine tomorrow with delivery. Yeah, I'm not too hyped for this one because of battery issue PTSD.

Was the battery issue due to an upgrade? I've had mine since Nov 2021 and no metal part or battery drain issues as far as I'm aware... maybe bc I hadn't updated to the latest firmware?
Turning off DSEE and not using noise cancelation/ambient sound is the only solution ive found to get livable battery life (2-3hrs), but nothing compared to what they used to get pre update. Also phone calls of more than 5min in length drain the battery completely, its insane
@@oliviadaly4795ndeed, never update your tws no matter what, mostly have such battery drain issue after updating new software including mine, i straight away sold it before it become worst.

Samsung phones have a hearing test feature to determine which frequencies you can't hear and it adjust the sound so you can hear them. As you age your hearing degrades and you can't hear certain frequencies anymore. Anker liberty pro 3 has this sound test too on their app. Sony should implement that in it's app. Also, the 5 band equalizer is pretty lame too. Can you have a 10 band at least?

How to enable AMBIENT SOUND and stop the music WITH THE SAME ONE TOUCH ?? sounds so obvious ... (and it works like this with Sennheisers)

I know some have issues with the batteries in the XM4s, and the call microphones are terrible, but honestly I think they're the best ANC headphones in their price bracket available in the market. The XM5s don't look like a significant enough upgrade from the XM4s to make the switch, but I love the soundscapes the headphones create. Also that song is a banger and sounds fantastic on the XM4s - Predictable Life, Abby Holiday!!
I was on the xm4 for both the WF and the over ear.
For the inear I moved to samsung galaxy buds and ordered the comply foam.
Not buying Sony again..

@@santoshrane Each to their own. For me, the soundscapes on the Sony's blow the Samsung's out of the water. I also got the XM4s on sale for £150 before the XM5s came out, so for that price I think it's the better deal.
@@santoshrane Sony are ahead in the game, I'd say Bose but interface wise they're missing alot of key features. Samsung in my opinion (I have several of their earbuds) can't really compare

@@hiwasgeht7945 it looks like you have no idea... XM4s had 2 big problems: The battery life after 1y+ effects many people and the other problem was the metal sound problem, where something becomes lose in the earpiece and you have to slide it back. just google for it /youtube search

I am using both xm3 and xm4, the left side ear bud has battery problem, comparing to right side bud, i go different shops for solutions. All the mechanics tell me that it was a general complaint for sony products.
