RC Cola is more like the nonconformist cola. Especially RC is kind of rare. You can find RC in stores like Dollar General, Walmart, Target and some supermarkets. Some people ordered RC online through Amazon.
Check this out. I was at a Roger Waters "from Pink Floyd" concert in Cincinnati a week or two ago, and they had RC on tap at the stadium. I was pleasantly surprised. I've been buying it since. I even had Berries and Cream RC this past week. Bought out the stores entire stock of it. So underrated.
Some places stopped selling it since they still charge 99c a 2liter and Coke and Pepsi go for 2-4 dollars. Same with Arizona teas, classic 99c drink that cost 1.10 at Speedway gas stations (they even have their own cans, printed without typical 99c).
It had a historical aspect, too .... Pepsi got into the Soviet Union first (due to Nixon, as Pepsi's HQ being in suburban NYC) and Coke got into China first (due to Carter, as Coke's HQ is in Atlanta).
It did though. This as was poking fun at the fact that the Soviet Union allowed for Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Don’t forget they opened a McDonald’s too toward the end.
And this is why Johnny Gilbert used to say this on early Supermarket Sweep episodes: "And RC challenges you to try its great cola taste. Compare your cola to RC. You be the judge. Take the RC challenge today!"
I like the idea of RC being the "Underground cola"
yes
Ah, yes, I remember this one way back in the day. Thanks for posting it.

Yeah, it’s kind of hard finding it on stores but when I do see it, I grab it.

Sadly most Walmart stores does not have RC Cola or Nehi Peach 12 packs on the shelf.

The funny part is the Soviet Union would NEVER drink any capitalist three sodas, openly.
Pepsi, had a big foothold

Is Double Cola still around anywhere?
I know of at least 3 places that still sell of it. So yes, but it is super rare from what I can tell.

That’s horribly dark.
