I think Bromley is one of the only guys I've seen with worse deadlift leverages than me. Pulling 700 with limbs that short and a torso that long is insane.
It’s wild…I watch hours of these types of vids every day and still somehow I’m learning things about my lifts that I never knew. These were all the problems I’m having with deadlifts so thank you 🙏
Just wanted to let you know that your deadlift information has helped me more than any other information out there. I've been following for a few years. Thank you!
Of all the things in this video that were all useful, the one that made me smile and laugh was the one about ab cramps. I've gotten them more than a few times over the last couple months and have never known how to deal with them. They are the worst. In a video about fixing a deadlift, I learned how to deal with ab cramps. Amazing.
This is a great topic. Muscle control vs strength. The holding your pee muscle bracing your core. Been working through this with my physiotherapist to address poor glute engagement. I barely have any core stability which is taxing my lower back hard. Even under controlled lats were hurting core stability. Easy accessories to strengthen when you know what needs work.
As always, amazing illustration material. one question that i have is, with 90% weight and over i don't feel like i am locked in before the lift but to get locked it i do the barbell roll and i automatically be in a great position for the lift. Is this wrong?
Fuck, I always knew that there is something wrong with chest up but I kept going with this cue. I am interesting in how my lifts will increase with this strong position
Alexander is the Bob Ross of whiteboard.
The "Human Thumb" Bromley 😂💪

Such a short video for him. I'm a huge fan, the app with his programs boost camp is amazing.

for most lifters the roll style technique is very inconsistent. I would explore other styles of set up
Shoutout to my beltless bois
Nice explanation ❤❤
Glad you liked it
I have watched so many videos but still never learned to brace and breath properly for deadlift. I just cant get properly tight.
Fuck, I always knew that there is something wrong with chest up but I kept going with this cue. I am interesting in how my lifts will increase with this strong position
I have Scheuermann's disease, so I can really relate to my guy on the left lol
Some say Bromley never took an Adderall in his life, and |, for one, believe it.
👍
I don't deadlift 800 lbs. I don't deadlift 600 either... /Hedberg
