I know it’s chump change for most successful RUclips creators, but I am extremely gratified that this is my first video to reach 100 views in the first 24 hours. I’m especially pleased that it seems like the subjects I am most passionate about and have done the most work in are the ones that do well. Thank you to everyone who watched. If you haven’t yet, go hit that like and subscribe to help out the channel.

The demons are inside you. Think of human vices or shadows. The Devil card in tarot is a good reference

Could some of these demons work under Apep and try to also cause destruction and chaos? Do any names exist of such beings who are similar in goal to Apep?

Unfortunately, we just don’t know. For most, all we have are a name or a picture. Dr. Lucarelli has done the most research in the field. A comprehensive demonology of Ancient Egypt is probably not forthcoming. I recommend, “Demon Things: Ancient Egyptian Manifestations of Liminal Entities,” for some of the latest research. In my opinion, creating a demonology of Egyptian spirits is now in the hands of the magi. Our own communications with these spirits is really the only way to reveal much more.

      you mean Isfet?

@@MrShreds22 I would be interested in seeing any work on Isfet in English, which I have found sorely lacking. According to the sources I read there seems to be spirits in the service of many gods and entities. Like the Killers of Sekhmet. A logical extrapolation would seem spirits in the service of Apep and Isfet. Keep in mind when I use the word demon I mean underworld spirit. It’s not a judgement if they are malefic or helpful.

Um you live in the duat lol this is Tartarus and Tartaria is hell the underworld... A quick Google search can help you here Google Tartaria and Tartarus is hell and read ..
Also demons are negative polarity angels you have angels and the 4 demon kings. This is love and light lol you must have plus and negative to keep the universe in balance..and in Egypt we called demons netters not demons. Demon is a Christian word lol not Egyptian

Every culture has different interpretaions of the underworld. Mine come from The Book of Going Forth by Day, The Amduat, and The Book of Gates, along with numerous papers on the subject. Many scholars have stated that the Ancient Egyptians had no blanket term for these entities. I believed I discussed the problems with using the term demon, and why I made that choice. Multiple scholars have adopted the term demon. I reccomend the works of Egyptologist, Rita Lucarelli.
