- Here’s the tutorial on how to make my crochet babydoll top and dress! This is a made to measure pattern so you can adjust it to any size :)

- Number 2 / sport weight yarn (I used 270 grams for the top, and 550 grams for the dress)

i made this a few days ago when i was sick! It took me 3 days to make and im SO happy with it! Super beautiful! I used a yarn that changes colour throughout the skirt and it worked really well!

Pretty simple tutorial, made it in a few months (took a long break from it) with little struggle. Accidentally made it a bit short but it still looks good. Ill be following some more of your tuts in the future

How much yarn did you use ? Because I’m at the second part and I already used so much yarn and the part is very stiff and sticks out
@@nathivoss6152 I used about 250-270 grams for the top, try using a slightly bigger hook to make it less tight :)

Day 1: I'm about halfway through the bodice/bra part, I need to keep on reminding myself to do the slipstitches super loose lol
Day 2: I'm done with the bra part and am starting the bottom part, it looks so prettyyyyy
Day 3: I chose to layer the skirt part, it looks sooo princess like!

I was looking for some baggy frock type pattern which doesn't fit tightly to my body and i found your tutorial of this project which is perfectly what i was looking for. I'm definitely making it. It is well crafted and quite easy to understand. Thank you for your efforts and sharing the amazing pattern with us..!
Can you share a tip on how can we achieve straight edges on the sides (the rectangular first part of the frock where you gave it ribbed effect before joining it)? One tip i learnt from the video was to make a single chain at the end of the row, turn over the work and start working on a new row right from the first stitch of it.
Also, i loved the dress version too (picture that you inserted in the start of the video), probably I'll be opting to make the dress version. For dress version, i shall continue adding the rows of V stitch( in the exact same way as the 2nd,3rd and 4th rows of the V stitch in lower part of the top) until desired length?
Hi! So happy you found my tutorial useful!🥰 a tip to ensure straight edges is to keep your tension very loose! And mark every first and last stitch of each row to make sure you’re not adding or skipping stitches 😊
Yep! For the dress, just keep making rows of v stitch like in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th rows of the bottom part! Hope this helps🫶

Hi! I think it’s good to have some knowledge of basic crochet stitches before starting this project, since the stitches used may be a little hard to work with (the slip stitch can get tight if your tension is not loose enough)
