This song encapsulates everything that I have felt through my journey out of the darkness of internalised shame from incestuous child sexual abuse - The rubble of the love of my brother which became sour through the grooming and sexual abuse. I mourn the family that I should have had. It took me a long time to notice my denial of that loss. The way that the trauma wasn't solely the situation, but the loss of the love that I thought I had. But I'm out here building castles. They stand so strong and tall that no one would guess that they began from rubble.
