She calls it 'fake martial arts', but her ability to actually move well enough for it to look convincing is impressive in on to itself.
Yeah the only thing that seems to be take is he actual physical strength being faked. Her movements are fairly real, so the martial art itself could be considered real. Bluff 100?
It's real martial arts. "Naika ken", she's telekinetic but needed to hide it, so learned martial arts, she blocks them with telekinesis and just moves her arms to look like she's fighting. She calls it fake because she's not fighting, she could do the same without moving, she just "fakes" so no one knows she has superpowers.

I think spider man does this occasionally, when Peter needs to fight as Peter he acts as though he knows martial arts. I think that I have even seen Clark do it.

@@KnHighmer_Dos Sometimes comedy animes do acknowledge that Japanlish (Japanese + English) sounds pretty funny and just go in for a laugh with a random English word but they would try to pronounce it perfectly to throw the audience off

If you slow it down to the slowest speed you’ll see that she actually never really touches then except for like once or twice, she’s using her powers to stop their attacks right before they touch her to make it look like she’s blocking and she’s using her power to push them instead of actually hitting them with her weapon, she also uses her powers to throw and flip them.

if you're thinking about shonen like naruto or dragonball, it's because they last 500 episodes while seasonal shows only last up to 12-25 episodes, making more use out of their budget, talent and time

can be debated with Megalobox. Megalobox had a hype start and maintained the hype until the last episode which lead a lackluster/disappointing finish in my opinion. Hinamatsuri had a slower start and had to build up interest since it was a comedy/SOL anime. Weakest episode was 7, but everything else was either good or great and the series ended well. I give the series 2.5 years for any announcement for a season 2.
Best anime this season? Idk a lot of good ones. Black clover has been the funniest so far and you can't knock boku no hero academia

This is easily one of the best first episodes and has cemented its place as tied for my favorite anime of all time.
What's the other one tied there, Kaguya-sama? It's the other comedy I can think of that's on Hinamatsuri's level.
