- This is a short video part of my travel Vlog - Diving in Apo Island
Very nice coral and saw quite a lot of Nudi Branc on this dive - However it was probably the most disappointing dive location I visited in the Philippines. There are literally NO FISH!
The locals have cleared out the sea with relentless fishing - Most of the Philippines is clearly overfished but this place is extreme. It's a like a ghost down there. Beautiful soft corals and some macro and critters but you're lucky to even see a banner fish!
Dumaguete is nice place and was a great stop off on holiday through the Philippines

I did three dives in Apo a month ago, and I totally disagree with you. Those were the best dives I did in the Philippines. I dived Dauin, Balicasag, Moalboal and Malapascua too. Moalboal was by far the worst of them.
+moketoni ok perhaps I had a bad couple of dives. I thought the coral was very healthy and beautiful but a massive lack of fish. I felt it was like a ghost town
