the overflow of Joy this woman instills in me, my eyes break open and will not stop flooding Thank You Sarah for reminding me that there ARE Good People in the World.
I know it was said in jest, but I have to disagree with the adults-having-children's-pets thing. When my father was in his sixties, he had a hamster. Originally Ham had belonged to one of my nieces, but Dad took care of him while she was on holiday and they bonded so she let Dad keep him. Ham had his own bedroom in which his cage door was always open so he could be free range. He lived a very happy and very long life and we all adored him. A week or so after Ham died, I found Dad in the bathroom cleaning the cage out at the sink, his shoulders shaking as he silently cried for his beloved little friend. He rarely cries so I'll never forget that. There is no age restriction on animals, and sometimes they can make a pensioner feel like a little boy again.
Yeah, agree. I think you get to an age where it's a bit irresponsible to commit to a pet that's going to live for potentially 20 years+ when you might not unless you have close family or friends that are definitely happy to take them on. I wouldn't get a new cat or dog if I was 70+ but I'd still like to have pets - probably mice or rabbits.
Alison McLaughlin, I see what you mean, but some older people live for their animals, especially if they have no one else around them, but I agree that they should ensure there is someone to take the pets on should the need arise. My Auntie Peggy is in her nineties and still rehomes rescue dogs. She opts for older ones as younger ones would be too active for her, and she has outlived them all. She wants another one now since her last old lad Charlie died; she lives alone and although she is visited frequently by loved ones, it's not the same as a friend constantly by your side. Her daughter has promised to take in any dog left when she goes to join all the others she has lost over the years.
Awww NotMostGirls, that's so sweet and so sad at the same time. I don't think it matters what pet you have, when you've bonded with them and they eventually die, it's heartbreaking. I've had cats for most of my life, and I sobbed like I'd never stop when my kitties have passed on.
Sarah is a unique, truly funny person. There is an honesty in her sharp observations. I am so glad I found her, ( only recently), via her appearances on "QI", and so glad to find so much of her on RUclips. I think her Xmas gathering on Twitter is a sweet idea. A cool lady!
I totally understand her feelings! I went on this friend date to the cinema and I knew we were going as just friends but afterwards people in my friend group turned round and said "are you guy's exclusive?" I'm just like "Eh? Pardon?" Sarah Millican is amazing :)
She's the best I watch her over and over ..I have the winter Blues I live in Canada.. and if we need a laugh all you do is watch her.. thank you so much
Sarah really seems super lovely. I started to watch QI because of Alan Davies and discovered Sarah thru the show. Soon I was up to speed on all things/ all appearances of Sarah...and now, she's my new "TV Girlfriend"❤. I hope that she understands. I mean, I am in L A. and even I was her neighbor, I would still be of NO harm to her. . She's like a comfy old friend, that you know will always make you laugh, even if you are feeling a little down. Thanks for posting this.
OMG I used to have a drunk text problem. Then I changed my exes (plural) name to NO/BAD *her name* so that when I wanted to text her, I'd see what Sober Me had said - like a grown up reminding you that it might not be a great idea. I'm so glad I'm not alone!
I spent 5 xmases alone as my now ex partners ex wouldn't let him see his little girl if i was there with his family and my family live away. The year after we split I was alone again and it was marvellous
I definitely agree on the dog front. My Jack Russell is needy and loving as hell, a proper lapdog. (And unlike Russell's Jack Russell, he doesn't have a thing about humping things and making you watch).
When you're travelling full time sometimes washing after one wear is not an option, and limited storage means 4 pairs to do 7 days. At least I haven't resorted to turning my knickers inside out yet 😂👃🩲😤🙊
I had a hamster when I was a kid and had one of those balls that it could run around in. Every single time he got into it he immediately took a giant piss and started to run! 🤣😂🤣😂. A little mobile piss fountain. ⛲️. My mother nearly had a stroke.

I really adore Sarah Millican, she's like that quirky aunt that you can't get enough of ^_^
I adore her too I freaking love her
I was going to say funny neighbour, but that works too!
ive always thought she was like a very mischivious librarian or Nursery school teacher. :-)
Ditto ditto ditto
That's a great way to describe her,'like a quirky aunt',one you absolutely adore.
I'm really really curious to know how comfortable these chairs are

What a beautiful story.
Gothai Rajan, thank you, I really appreciate that.

Imagine having Sarah Millican as a family member 👌🏼 Champion ❤️
I love #JoinIn. Back in 2014 I was absolutely miserable and Sarah really helped me.
it's nice when social media is used in a positive way
I love that. 💕💕
I'm a HUGE FAN of both Russell Howard and Sara Millican. These 2 are just great people

Oh my gosh. She would be an awesome dinner lady.
issy goddard lol
Imagine her on Victoria Wood's dinnerladies- What would her character name be?... Hoover?
Mmmm, she could skin my custard. LOL. She is so very funny, in a warm and understated way. Just brilliant.
I didn't like her at first. But she's really grown on me, and as a comedian. Lovely lady.
Same here.
I am a big fan of hers. I live in the USA and have only seen her on youtube on dif shows or her standup but shes my fav. love her !
This girl is precious. She knows real life, because she's real people.
I am absolutely riveted by those chairs! 😯 Now I wish I could sit in one of those chairs and have a nice long chat with Sarah
How gorgeous and down to earth is she....
I totally understand her feelings! I went on this friend date to the cinema and I knew we were going as just friends but afterwards people in my friend group turned round and said "are you guy's exclusive?" I'm just like "Eh? Pardon?" Sarah Millican is amazing :)
9:59 that laugh is infectious
She's the best I watch her over and over ..I have the winter Blues I live in Canada.. and if we need a laugh all you do is watch her.. thank you so much
I adore her so much
She is full of so much love and wisdom. She’s such a wonderful mother figure and honestly I kinda want her to adopt me
I'd like her as a friend because she makes me laugh.
both funny as - and doing such good in the world - thank you ♥
2 of my favourites, seen both live. brilliant
Two of my favourite people in the whole wide world xxx xxx xxx
I'm not sure why, but I really like the bird design on Sarah's shirt. Not so much the bird itself, but how it was made out of one continuous line.
I like the zippers on the sleeves too
It's a hummingbird. I love it
27+ years alone on Christmas, even when i had family. Such is the life of a truck driver.
Brilliant
Superb! Thank you Sarah.
Do you keep abreast?... I keep two.....that was gold
I spent half this video thinking that the line drawing on her shirt was a cat silhouette fishing.
I can't wait to see Sarah next year
Anyone else noticed that the info box says he's talking to Naomi Klein? 😁😁
Thank you...she is brilliant 😁👍❤
Sarah is probably the only person who could make me consider being on Twitter, just for Christmases alone.

She would be a fantastic friend to have
Love these 2.
You are champion. Comedian. Fookin love u Mrs Millican. X
two of my fav people having a chat
I know, right!
"the murder weapon has been found to be a boob"-CSI, Lancastshire
Matthew Seger Lancaster and Lancashire are two different words
Only the OG will remember the time he said he lost his virginity under a bridge with his friends watching
Wasn't there something to do with the army or something? Or cadets...?
@@OfficialFingazMC I know this is an old comment, but it was under a bridge at an army camp!
@@mightiermarvel That was it yeah, tar mate
At an army camp. He rolled over to a nest of ants and got horribly bitten.
I love when the presenter and the guest are both REALLY funny! I think Sarah and Russell complemented each other very well. So enjoyable!
My two favourite comedians
I discovered Sarah via You tube. She is wonderful and I love her accent. Brits have a different style when doing stand up comedy.
YAY. I hope you come here to New Zealand, Sarah!
I saw her in Auckland earlier this year. It was champion!
jealous. I couldn't travel at that time :(
God, I love her laugh!

Oh we'd LOVE to see you here again in Australia? We're recent fans so come on out!!!!! Watch ALL your clips :-)
I find those newspaper stacks so distracting. How stable are they? Can you lean back? Will they tip? How heavy are they? How are they held together?
I spent 5 xmases alone as my now ex partners ex wouldn't let him see his little girl if i was there with his family and my family live away. The year after we split I was alone again and it was marvellous
my lord, i love both of these beautiful humans
Oh my god she's so cool
Good timing youtube..
Sarah is so wholesome
I put a photo of “The Fat Controller” from Thomas the tank engine in my phone -
🤣🤣🤣👍🏽
She said the lovely, wonkey eyed thing... straight to Russell's lovely, wonkey eyed face.
Think she's got a chance? 🤣
Haha. I changed all my exes’ names to female celebrities in my phone. Something that doesn’t give me anxiety when I see it
You keep your exs number??
Just Delete...💯💜
Is Beyoncé still calling you?
@@wayneessar7489 😂
she is just wonderful
Sarah Millican might just be the most completely lovely human being ever born. I want to live in a world in which she is the president of Earth.
I love her.
shara and Ellen the Gennnaaannn. loved you stand up special Russell
how wonderful is Sarah!!! 💚
When are you coming to NZ?
She’s a champion to her fans
Love her, nice person too!
Give it the time and effort and any recycled magazine/newspaper/any paper could be the best chair you will ever sit in
My ex is in my phone as Arsey McArseface 😂
Helen Christie Is he Scottish?
That sounds like a name for a boat.
My daughters dad is under b$&&@@ on her phone I’ve begged her to change it
Mine is “this f$&ker”

I definitely agree on the dog front. My Jack Russell is needy and loving as hell, a proper lapdog. (And unlike Russell's Jack Russell, he doesn't have a thing about humping things and making you watch).
I just love her.
I watched this while eating crisps with a spoon
I’m a 41 yo woman with guinea pigs. Sorry Sarah. 😬😂😂
I'm 39 and stopped sniffing my leggings about 6 months ago - now i can just afford good perfume
Susie English just wash your damn leggings 🤮
Resilience etc. Why?
When you're travelling full time sometimes washing after one wear is not an option, and limited storage means 4 pairs to do 7 days.
At least I haven't resorted to turning my knickers inside out yet 😂👃🩲😤🙊
I hit the legging point at 20 😁
Are we gunna measure how careless people are about clothing by the age they decide to stop smelling their leggings?
Seems fair
@@technomorph6798 No, were gonna measure how banjaxed their fanny is by the state of their leggings.
I love Sarah Millican. Russell Howard is as cute as a button.
What a REALLY lovely woman !!
I think Sarah would have been a great mother ... she'd be a lot of fun
Love how she says twitta
awww id go on a date with you Russell! xxx
Samantha .Gooding I'm not sure there's anyone who's attracted to men that *wouldn't* go on a date with him
Amelia Smith true that.
And some who aren't even attracted to them ;)
Samantha .Gooding i go on a friend date with these be a fun time
You think he reads the comments🤣
he's actually very cute
But, as Sara's philosophy goes, his wonkey eye might bring him down closer to my level. 😉
This woman is amazing! and she looks like she ages backwards
I'd get me minces examined if I were you - she looks like a Bo! Selecta mask
I had a hamster when I was a kid and had one of those balls that it could run around in. Every single time he got into it he immediately took a giant piss and started to run! 🤣😂🤣😂. A little mobile piss fountain. ⛲️. My mother nearly had a stroke.
Um the video description doesnt match the video
Matthew Jackson welcome to RUclips
I love Naomi Klein, but I'm not sure this was her.... :)
BtW, Sarah you were much funnier than Naomi would have been.
How has he not been on a date??
Lol oh dear. You can't beat British humour.
I'm confused. She's divorced, she's gone on a date, she has a husband, she has a boyfriend. Straighten up the timeline for me anyone.
She got married when she was 22, divorced at 29. Then starting dating someone else in her early 30's who she's now gone on to be married to at 41
Joshua Oliver Thank you so much! I was so confused. Hah! Happy holidays!
And her husband is the similarly brilliant comic Gary Delaney.
Nabend1402 and used to be married to Andrew millican. Hence ‘Sarah millican’
I turned on the TV the other day and Russel was on omg i loov him
She is so funny
If Sarah wasn’t taken I’d have married her if she’d have had me.
Its not a geordie term champion its a northeast term anyone says it i say it im from live in sunderland
I’m 22 and I have two gerbils and a hamster...is this acceptable? 😄
RonnaaFoogle Yes. From my vantage point, 22 is still a child.
💙💙💙
Cats are never pointless, Russell. They may be assholes at times, but they're assholes that kill mice. *wink*
Those chairs look horribly uncomfortable
I want her sweater.
A Dog called Commander Tuvok?! XD
She is A champion!!!
caption is wrong. or her real name is naomi
Do you think her blind date with the beautiful guy with a wonky eye was Russell?
