Blue 15 Pila, Italy, DSUK 2020 trip

  • A trip down blue 15 at the Pila Ski Resort in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Filmed during a Disability Snowsport (DSUK) holiday week in February, just before Coronavirus closed all the ski resorts. DSUK is a fantastic charity.

    There appears to be a narrow part of this slope that has a sharp drop on the left at around 9:00. Is that the case? We are beginners and want to avoid any sharp drops. I would welcome your thoughts.

      Hi, Blue 15 is perfect for beginners, any narrow parts with drops are both well protected and not steep so easy skiing. The Pile ski schools use Blue 15 to return to Pila from the training area by the top of the cable car.

      @@michaelsavage846and if someone as clumsy as me did manage to slide off that edge, is it dangerous? Appreciate that we would be going slower on this section.
