After spending almost 20 minutes anticipated waiting on Tracks No. 18 & 19, a 16-car JR West N700A Series Shinkansen Set No. F5, which would function as the Shinkansen "NOZOMI" Superexpress No. 5 bound for Hakata (Fukuoka), entered Tokyo Station by 6.18 a.m. on Track No. 18. Once all the train doors were securely opened, I boarded the train through Car No. 8 and went into Car No. 9, which was one of the three Green Car (first class) coaches, before settling into my allocated Seat No. 10D for the main early morning trip of 2 hours 27 minutes down to the really modern and lively hustle and bustle of downtown Osaka in western Japan.
The seat next to me, 10C, would remain empty for the major morning trip of just 2 hours 27 minutes between Tokyo and Shin-osaka. After the main clock struck precisely 6.33 a.m. sharp, all the train doors were automatically closed, and the Shinkansen "NOZOMI" Superexpress No. 5 pulled out of Tokyo Station for its long morning journey time of 4 hours 57 minutes to the ultra-modern and lively hustle and bustle of downtown Fukuoka in the southern island of Kyushu. I was then en route for a routine early morning journey duration of 2 hours 27 minutes to the modern and lively hustle and bustle of downtown Osaka located to the west of the country.
