love that they pulled through with the giant "THREE" being constructed on the last days of BBC Choice... I agree it's more than a bit underutilised however.
The BBC 3 blobs was among some of my least favourites. I get that the majority of shows on the channel was adult comedies, but the fact that the blobs reprised the lines from the shows ruined it for me. Plus I never found the blobs amusing anyway.

These were my favourite BBC Three idents! They're a bit like Creature Comforts, which may have been intentional seeing as Aardman made them.

I was at the BBC Three launch. Cannot remember much about it then being a bit a annoying.
