🤣🤣🤣I've now been to three major cities in Canada and seen zero snow. So I feel like I'm getting ripped off. But I also lived in Chicago for 4 years and as a result, I hate cold and snow. So I'm not complaining.
I've always had a love/hate relationship with the Skydome (yes I'm old) and the city of Toronto itself. It's a Canadian thing, lol Took two of my kids to 2023 opening week to see my Detroit Tigers and really liked the renos that were done. I hope to go back this season to see the second phase they've been working on.
You’re the only person I’ve ever heard praise the Roger’s Centre. The Jays are my team and I’ve seen more than twenty games there. You were lucky to be there when the roof was open. It’s dismal when it’s closed. The next time you go, check out the Steam Whistle Brewery that’s right beside it. Take the tour and have a couple of beers before the game. The prices are crazy inside the stadium.
Very surprised to hear this, but I can kinda see where you're coming from if the roof is closed. There are definitely parts of it with a very old school feel. I actually did go to Steam Whistle after the game - wasn't a big fan of whatever beer I got and there was no place to sit so it wasn't worth a bonus episode. Maybe a tour would change my mind. But the train looked badass.
yes. I'm also from the 6 lol and Rogers Centre is very gloomy with the roof closed but it is very cool on a warm day with no clouds when the roof is open - quite spectacular
The fans are as good as any City. Americans dont realise baseball was always in Canada, and that we have people who love the game . As for the Rogers Centre/Skydome, I think for Torontonoans we have a love hate thing with it. We loved it as it was unique and everyone in the US loved the roof (it was the first true working retractable in sports at this size) and then we hated on it because everyone wanted the old school unique ball parks. In the end it is unique and is still a good park that the Jays are making better
Now way that was the real Canada. I didn't see any igloos or snow? Thanks for sharing

You'll have to let me know how it is after the second phase!

@@86nodini21 Loved it!
Poutine! Yes, please. Toronto looks fun!
Just a short drive!
Definitely looks like a gorgeous view anywhere in that ballpark! Another banger video my friend
You’re the true banger, Josh!
i think they changed their turf, or is that now real grass? either way; several years ago i thought their turf looked like molding diarreah.
My home park I love it foods overpriced of course new ranks are awesome and Canadians are nice ( because we are ) cheers glad you made it
I loved Rogers Centre when I got to go I want to go back eventually
Might be a whole new look for you after the renovations!
Especially since the team I saw there was the then Devil Rays
I haven’t been to Rogers Centre but the free arcade plus for me who only eats kosher pulls me to go
There were a few parks on the list with arcade style games. If I were still a kid, I might never leave there during the game!

And honestly, the uniqueness of the parks was the main reason I decided to do this.
Renos...not ranks sorry
