I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with looting places multiple times besides it getting repetitive. I would never avoid chances to get better items just because I had been there before when I play games. Why would I expect someone to do differently?
Its fine if you search through same buildings again. In some situations its even mendatory because some items spawn only in certain locations and depending on your goals for this series you might have to search through them few times. For example materials to build concrete house if you want to try it.
I’ve been dying to give you some tips and pointer but since I’ve been watching season 1 and they are quite old, there didn’t seem to be much point. Now that I’ve caught up and this video is your most recent, I can give you some tips. 1. You can hide from Mechs by hiding in bushes. They will walk right by you and not see you. (If they walk through the bushes, well, nice to have known you.😊) 2. You don’t need to carry trunks on your shoulders. You can place them on the ground, walk a short distance away and move them on the ground again. 3. Put logs into a metal trunk and you can move them all at once using the method in item 2 above. 4. The game always auto selects which arrows or screwdriver it will use first and it’s NEVER the one you want it to. Sorry, I’ve found no way to get around the arrows. 😖 The screwdrivers can be selected by taking the one you want to use in hand, EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO USE ONE. Very annoying but maybe some day. 5. If you have a chainsaw, use it to cut down trees. You will get an extra 4-5 logs that way and it’s way faster. 5a. Using a chainsaw to cut logs into planks will net out 3-4 extra planks 6. If you have a metal saw (hack saw) cutting long branches with that will get you extra short sticks. 7. If you have a pair of scissors, use them to cut up clothing, you will get double the rags. 8. If you are being attack by many puppets or a horde, climb on a roof, you can shoot the puppets from there with little risk they will climb up after you. A garage is a good choice as the back is low enough for you to climb up. Don’t try this if the puppets are right on top of you, they will pull you down. 9. In a previous episode you talked about how to hunt. That system is no longer how things work. You don’t need to look for clues before the game will allow you to see the animals. As you may remember you have already seen a bear, a dear, chickens and rabbits. Wolves are very dangerous and travel in packs of 2-3, however I’m not sure wolves are back in the game yet, I haven’t seen any for a long time now, they use to be very common. If you use the zoom-in/squint button while hunting you may see footprints of the animal if it has been there recently. If you’ve wounded an animal squinting will show you its blood trail. 10. Yes there are horses in the game. You can’t tame them or ride them, they are only good for their meat. 11. The half circular buildings you’ve been calling Barack’s are actually called Quonset Huts. 12. My favorite bow is the compound bow. It’s a little slower than a recurve but it’s more accurate and can be fitted with a sight that zooms in when you go to use it. The sighting dot on all other bows disappears after a few seconds so they are harder to aim. More tips to follow as I progress through your future videos. Great videos, keep em coming… 👍
I think the puppet respawn you modified is the reason the poi's were empty when you got to them. Maybe ask Luth the best way to achieve what you're trying to do!
Not sure if you knew this but if you double click on a clothing item it replaces the one you have equiped, so if you double click on boots for example it would replace the boots you have equipped and equip the new ones and will put the old boots in your inventory.
that really was a very nice and fitting conclusion of the second episode, fixing up that ballista to almost full quality, really gives the feeling you're good to go!
I thought SCUM was a dead game until I randomly stumbled upon your video. Years ago I only saw people try it and abandon it just as quick. Never heard about it again. I don't know if it's had a lot of updates or you just know how to play but I'm really enjoying your playthrough.
The game has had a lot of changes, however I think the biggest complaint about the updates is that the creator's hadn't been listening to what the players wanted. Apart from that, people do seem to be enjoying it
Good day to you, for your arrows selection question, with military quiver, i put them horizontal, best ones on the top and weaker ones below. Worked for me at least pre 0.95, hope it helps.
I think you found more on .5 loot than I find with normal loot rules. I am a bit envious though with all the puppets. That's one thing I rarely find on normal.
hey torak those old structures you are calling a bunker are called pill boxes they where used during ww2 thought that would explain why there is no underground part and why it had a cannon on top
Nice 1 Torak, btw if you commit suicide. INT gets lowered by 0.1 points. You can only get it back by using INT modules. You need abandoned bunker for that. They spawn there and need to be upgraded/filled on a computer inside the bunker. Depends which module you have, easiest 1 is 2x charging it. Max 5.0 and buffed to 8 i think

My question in SCUM: how did the single-player evolve? is there a campaign now? or at least a few 'little-bit-serious' enemies? more than just a few robots? Or is single-player still just a walking-sim with tons of loot?
It all depends on your imagination. The game becomes what you make it. Set challenges or missions for yourself, or get super immersive with some story. There is so much you can do
I played single for a little while but finding anything to eat or anything at all was a constant pain. I got tired of looting every single house for zilch.

Watching late this season, but the problem with your medical skill is it is advanced, but your maximum skill with under 3 intelligence is medium. As your intelligence is 2.9 (because suicide perhaps?) it cannot be higher than medium, no matter your skill level.
RUST was never a single player game and has always been, IMHO, a toxic PVP game. If you’re into that then it’s a great game but I prefer PVE, so I could never play it. Also I hate the way they force a gender onto your character. My character was female (with no way to change it) and I always felt a little creepy playing a 20 something naked girl. I’m 67 now and it just seems a little pervish. I would have killed for that when I was in my teens and twenties, but now it seems inappropriate

I did picture you in pink mil boots, yeah ... I think in the spirit of your very pronounced playthrough idea, knowingly looting a place more than once after a respawn of items means not sticking to the story line. Your argument that "2x0.5=1" doesn't make too much sense in that respect. However, for the sake of story progression and the *video* of your playthrough, I find it completely okay because it lets you progress a little quicker. As long as you don't rinse and repeat until you are stocked up, but as far as I understood, that was not your intent and purpose.

Well the thing is I didn’t suicide.. I spawned in with 2.9 and I have no idea why🤷🏼♂️ I’ll figure something out to fix it
