It's amazing, Nizzahon, how you turn around the creation of such a thorough, clear and focussed guide in such short time after the whole set drops. Appreciate it, thank you.
String of disappearances can, due to its wording, also be used to first bounce one of your own dudes, and then on top of that one of the opponents dudes - making for potential value / card advantage scenarios
Thanks so much for making this and your other MH1 vids! You're one of the only people I can find doing any sort of Limited review of the set at all, and given how wacky and different the draft environment will be, I appreciate all the help I can get!
@@NizzahonMagic I think you could have mentioned that you can bounce your own things multiple times, specially good with the many ETB creatures, albeit this will be very rarely used.
-String of Disappearance: first target your own etb/auralocked creature, then pay UU to bounce an opponent's. -fuck yeah the Krosan Tusker, one of my all-time favorite cards, I don't think I've ever cast it... Thanks for the tips, I think you left out Fists of Flames! I won a game by holding onto a pair of Fists of Flames until I had the bodies I needed, and when I finally cast them, I had already drawn a 2nd card that turn, so it became +3/+0 and +4/+0 and trample, on two different creatures for lethal. Hard to argue with it's effectiveness alongside cards like body-horror Minotaur and EyeKite.
Hey nizz! Have you considered just doing top 5/6 overall per color at common/uncommon so you're not constrained to talking about ones you're not really too high on?
I’m cheesed dude I think spring bloom Druid is excellent and the best green common. Double fixes your mana and grabs snow lands and ramps you while adding to the board
Oh man oh baby I am so HYPED for this set. Curious whether it will unseat Iconic Masters as my favorite limited format of all time. Quick question tho are you going to do this same type of review for multicolor cards or are they too archetype dependent ? Speaking of really looking forward to an archetype guide. UW is so god damn sweet can’t wait to ephemerate + Splice Everdream on a Pondering Mage for 4 to draw 2 then do it again next turn on rebound for 3. Gd DAMN I am hyped.
Love the video and now since cycling is a viable deck type one with nothing will me modify to a strong deck tech like i said told u so but still love the video
Definitely good (especially after a Goatnap!) but I don't think one of the best commons. There is a bit of sacrifice synergy in this set, but not enough.
I love how all these Magic the Gathering videos just assume that new players know what the fuck they're talkin about. What the hell is a draft Innovation set?

There are some pretty weak takes here, I don't think he has that great an understanding of the archetypes
Lawl ok. I have a whole video on archetypes coming out Tuesday. I know what they all are and the cards that are best for them.
All changelings are also "cowards". I didn't realize that. NIce.
And Goats
And Ninjas
And Beebles
And Uncle Istvans, before the Mending

No problem!
“Fact or Fiction a card from Magic’s long past.” Man I feel old 😑
Vaughn Robinson You and me too, brother.
I remember when it was new too, but that doesn't make it not old haha
FCUK YEAH! BATTLE SCREECH! Yes i can finally afford to make a cheap bird deck again! It a great card with Prismatic Strands

Not chain of vapour?
Cause I think that's more what it's referencing
It references both. Chain lightning has the "controller can pay RR" part.
@@NizzahonMagic fair enough

Hard for a combat trick to ever be a top common, too situational.
Fair, but, "two mana, draw a card" at instant speed, and it gives a relevant keyword, it's not first pickable, certainly, but it's good.
String of disappearances to bounce your own pondering mage and your opponents creature, on their end of turn step.
T3 Alpine Guide into T4 Quakefoot Cyclops seems pretty dope
Awesome video! 💯🙏🙌
No colorless and multicolor? ;)
Alpine Guide is like a funky Borderland Ranger.
Hey nizz! Have you considered just doing top 5/6 overall per color at common/uncommon so you're not constrained to talking about ones you're not really too high on?
I think that talking about ones I'm not too high on is just as useful as talking about the ones I'm high on, though.
Springbloom Druid is really good. You can sac a forest to get 2 other colors if necessary or do whatever fixing you need.
Yeah, in a deck that wants fixing it is nice. Not all decks will want it though.
In the worst case, it's a better version of Farhaven Elf, which I'll take highly in any draft that isn't super aggro
It's best in Gruul, which specifically wants lands in graveyards
Actually maybe it's best in Simic because you can pull 2 snow basics

maybe Boldwyr Intimidator will get time shifted to build on the Cowards theme
You incorrectly stated String of Disappearances and Man o War bounces your opponents creatures, when they can also bounce your own :)
True enough, the flexibility matters, even if you do use it on your opponents creature 95% of the time.
With string of disappearances you can bounce both your own and your opponents creatures, if yiu have a good comes into play ability creature.

Ok question. If you splyce onto battle screech will it stay splyced even for the flashback?
No, you have to splice the flashback spell too.
Thank you Nizza.
battle cry as 2 words looks so wierd :D

One With Nothing still sucks.
What about artifacts and multicolored cards?
Not really enough of either
What about Carrion Feeder?

Why spectral procession when you can screech? xD
Indeed
I thought this wasn't a limited release
It's not in standard.
you know you can get a shock land with mountain as it subtype with alpine and if it dies sac a basic mountain
No shocklands in this format.
@@NizzahonMagic you mean draft right? Or are you ganna tell me shack lands are banned on modern?
@@williamcortespoppedecarval951 I mean draft, this video about draft
@@williamcortespoppedecarval951 this video is meant for limited, so the "nonbasic mountains" isn't relevant :)

Watcher for Tomorrow doesn't come into play tapped.
It does if you read. =)

A special set with higher MSRP that isn't legal in Standard but has useful reprints, where the set is mostly designed for draft.
Hello everyone I'm Pizza Hoe and I will do everything for a good slice
ARK-EH-TYPE... not sure why so many Magic players say it with just two syllables. Weird.
