Best SG style guitar? The Maybach Albatroz

- After searching for an SG guitar for quite a while, I decided to buy this Maybach Albatroz, and I gotta say - It surprised me how good it is. 2,7 kg, very resonant and with a fatter neck for those who doesn’t like the slim taper.
The Amber spirit of 59 pickups are snappy and clear, with enough low end to sound warm as well. If you want growl - they’ll deliver in spades.
The relic is tastefully executed, and for the price of the instrument you get a lot.

I faded SGs for a long time. I didn’t like the way and took a long time to grow on me. Now I can’t put mine down. Really comfortable guitar. Sound like a Les Paul without that low end thud.

I have the same Albatroz and it is amazing💪
I would get one except they are prohibitively expensive and to get to Canada is even worse. For what it's worth though it seems to sound better than most Gibsons.
I have the single p90 version. Love it!

How does the guitar do, tuning stability wise? They’ve made some improvements to the neck and joint compared to Gibson if I’m not mistaken, right?
Tuning was very stable on my Albatroz, but I’m unfortunately not sure whether they made improvements on the neck joint or not. In my experience the neck was incredibly easer to bend out of tune, which I ultimately couldn’t get used to - so I sold it. But that’s pretty much a general thing with SG’s.
Sounds beautiful! Do you like the Pickups? Is there a difference between a "real" SG?
Thank you Sebastian. I liked the pickups a lot yeah. I’ve haven’t tried many SG’s, around 4 or so. Some with classic 57’s some with the t498/t490’s - the Amber pickups in this guitar are certainly great, he knows how to make amazing pickups. The guitar is great value, can’t recommend it enough.
