Hey Andrew, what drone reeds do you use in your Naills for solos.
Andrew, I have a set of McCallums already, I've been planning on getting a second set of pipes. I'm in a band, but we're a public service band, mainly do this as a hobby.. I've been thinking of getting the MacRae pipes as my new set to play in the band. How would you compare the drone sound, steadyness and any other factors between the McCallums and the MacRae's? Really interested on what you think

What chanter are you using with that set of mcraes?
Hey Andrew, I'm a relatively new piper. In terms of improving chanter tone is it move important to change to a better reed, or save and buy a better chanter?
Would like to clarify that I am talking about bagpipe chanters rather than a practise chanter
being a piper myself the pipes are only as good as the man that's working with them same as anything really william
