I'm among the very first to say that it doesn't matter what clothes you wear as long as your worship is genuine. Having said that, I do think it's refreshing to see this worship band dressed as if they really do care about their appearance on stage. Good job, ladies and gentlemen.
Amen! I think its refreshing to see worship leaders and pastor's wearing nice clothes instead of looking like they just left a bar the night before. Wearing your best is honoring to God. I wish more pastor's realized that. A great example of leading by example!

While singing God praises is a most fulfilling form of worship, I must say that as a minority in predominately all white church with influences from all the Cris Tomlins of the world has its listening challenges. I am also one of three bass players. I agree with the statements made by the mixing engineer suggesting that the " Mixing philosophy spreading in modern music circles lacks definition and dynamic range". Well said. Those parishioners outside of the musicians circle are most eager to worship on sundays unaware that there is a another world of exceptional R&B and contemporary gospel music. Ive gone so far as to attend music workshops which perpetuate this Christian rock philosophy... walls of competing instruments awash in guitars crunching away set to a drum loop. I love my church, and i would never leave it because Im dissatisfied with the music. All were suggesting is to reach outside of the musical monopoly that is trending at present.
Well it's all for Jesus to Jesus through Jesus take your eyes off the natural and set them on the King of Kings.

the only different instrumental for this song that I listenning is the brazilian version on cd Deus Reina by Diante do Trono, and don't have playback :(

As a mix engineer, I'm not a big fan of this tiered mixing philosophy spreading in modern worship circles. The music lacks clear definition and dynamic range. Any NewYork or LA engineer or Artist would never see the point in this mixing trend. My opinion, me thinks the king has no clothes and it's a trend with no value. Heck if you had to pay scale a producer would never waste so much musical space.
Speaking truth in love, the very fact that you are a self proclaimed "Guru" is interesting in itself and self glorifying. Makes me take anything you say with a grain of salt. Slamming another mix engineer's mix style shows insecurity in yourself and might be worth you looking at your motive doing so. Doesn't matter what you wear, who arranged the vocals, if you like the drum fills or guitar licks or if you like the mix sir Guru. I'm sure you realize that sitting in the A1 hot seat is the most subjective role in live or recording music. Put 500 peeps in a room, and you get 500 opinions. I personally mix around 600 shows a year. I mix it the way I like it and thankfully my employer likes my mix style. Evidently the people buying tickets to the shows I mix are satisfied as well. I guessing they really thought the White album was mixed perfectly in the day, (tho no one mixes like that anymore thank God). There are countless records supposedly spot on when they mixed them, yet mix preferences change as do music styles over the years. With so many different demographics and worship styles today, I think in this case, they are reaching people in their environment and engaging them in authentic upward focused worship to our Father in heaven. After our desire should be to point people to Jesus, serving with our first fruits and bringing our best in doing so. I hope you realize your comments are nothing but negative and and serve no purpose other than to tell us all you that know better than everyone else. Love ya bro, but come down off that plateau you've placed yourself on.
