I want to emphasize when learning the car patterns, it is best to do so online! Even if you dont play with people often, all you need is 1 other player for a private room or even just a worldwide. Learning the patterns offline is just counterproductive since the change is pretty huge. This track tends to go from a nightmare to one of players favorites the minute they get the patterns down. Lots of frontrunning potential on the highway.
This has to be the most underrated channel out there. I could have never imagined a channel soulely based around mario kart wii meta to be this interestingl. The quality is superb and there are consistent uploads along with cool topics. Arc, you're awesome, never change!
I also ready know all the cars in moon view highway because it’s really my favorite race. Also,I built moonview highway out of Legos.I already know why the cars are on the left lane. Thank you so much.
Just recently subscribed to your channel, and this video is super helpful. I've watched almost all of your videos, but my favorites are the ones where you give very detailed explanations and visuals about inputs, show slowmo footage of failed/succeed tricks (also footage of late, on-time, and early tricks in slowmo), and show diagrams to make the info more easy to understand - such as in this video. Keep up the great work, I love that I've been able to learn so much from your channel, as a MKWii beginner! :)
Are the online car patterns also 5 seconds behind compared to time trial car patterns on custom tracks such as DS Shroom Ridge, GCN Mushroom Bridge etc?
3:46 the bomb car is online-only? i've never played online but i vividly remember seeing bomb cars. maybe it's just not in time trials? if you have any more information on this, i'd love to hear it! maybe i just misunderstood?
late, but bomb cars also appear on offline if you're racing CPUs. he only mentioned online though because once you get competitive the CPUs are a complete joke
can you explain, what makes a map a "frontrunning track" and a "uck based track/begging track"? i only know MH, RR, CM as front running tracks and LC, N64 MR and MG as luck based tracks
No joke, but after about 9 years of playing mkw I didn't realized that the cars drive on the LEFT lane until now. And I also watch this video for the 4th time and was always wondering: "What's he meaning? ...
I know better than to be over confident, especially since I never could and still can't play this game with other people nearly as much as I want to. Bragging doesn't get a person anywhere. But yet... there's still that part of me that thinks not only I'm good at this course to the point where I actually built a small reputation amongst my school friends, but I also like to think that I've got a bit of a secret weapon here in Moonview. I've gotten the cycles and random number generation down here so much over the past decade or so that I'm literally able to use the cars and vehicle cycles *against* the opposition.
@@producedbyvulk It's been a week, he uses a wii2hdmi cable so that's why it looks better than your setup probably does. Wii2hdmi upscaler can do some good stuff.
For me Moonview Highway is pretty easy. I just ride on center and on boost cars avoid them so it's easy. i dunno why for someone it's hard race. (English is not my main language but i hope u understand what i saying)

I can't believe how few subscribers and views there are for such useful content.
1:22 yes I know what its like driving on the left. Sometimes foreign people drive on the right near airports and its so funny
Yep, collisions are so funny
Mathijs Vogelezang it’s impossible to drive over 5 mph around an airport
@@crobodile collisions are also possible with 5mph
@@mathijsvogelezang5756 but they didn’t say anything about collisions

This is my second favorite mk Wii track so glad they brought it to the booster course pass
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I always struggle on this track

@@Arcintel finally. Now i can see whenever i need to bag.

Great Vid Arc! You should do a video on the rMC Double trick
Kinda already did....? But sure I'll see what I can do :)
Nice videos. You have got a new subscriber 😄
Are the local multiplayer cars the same as online cars? Like when you play split screen with four people?
No, local multiplayer has the same cycles as time trials, except that they have bomb cars too. That's a very good question!
This actually helps. Thank you.
0:25 the truck spawns in then disappears on the middle-ish left.
Moonview Highway is crazy underrated, beats Toad's Turnpike anyday
I just hope for the best.
Moonview is one of the best courses
Thrived by originality !
They need to add Moonview highway back as a retro track
after 3 years i found this again
RIP my moonview highway frontruns
at your skill level, it's a boon
