Woah those pads were toast. Do you not need rotors as well? Also, its always a good idea to check the slide pins, remove them, clean the old grease and apply new. Its really not uncommon to have a seized pin and with your pad wear favoring one side its entirely possible with the heat generated from being way overdue. I’m really trying not to be a desktop mechanic and truly appreciate the info here but brakes are the most important part of a vehicle.
