Well. He just won Malaysia open yesterday. And surprisingly I saw lots of smashes from Dan in the finals against Chen Long. I didn't cry when I saw LCW, CL, and LD on the podium, and those three are the true legends in the past decade. LD is the GOAT.

Sometimes, when i get confused on who or which player in the rally is Lin Dan, I consider these actions: -He’s left handed -He does all of his tricks during the game -He walks during his rallies -His smashes are increadibly fast -If you see the scoreboard and the score difference are very far away from each other, expect that the bigger score is Lin Dan. Just for my opinion.
The ability to actually USE trick/deception shots IN A competition match is INCREDIBLE. 99.99% of players don't dare use their trick shots in important matches.

i remember when i was 15 years old and playing tennis my Dad who always played badminton invited me to come over and play a little. I thought i will show him all corners, but man i didnt even make 1 point against a 50 year old. I underestimated this so much and what you say was what i remember the most, my legs hurt like crazy. Everytime he baited me to the net and smash it behind me again and let me run the whole time. Badminton is way more exhausting then tennis for the muscles.
