Peter Gade is my favorite of the 4 due to his tricky and deceptive innovation. Also the fact that he still did so well despite being old. 2011 World Championship was epic for him, Lin Dan, and Lee Chong Wei. That specific tournament, Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan were arguably at the end of their prime but still IN their prime yet Peter Gade got 3 impressive sets off of Lin Dan. Something no one can ever hope to achieve at the age of 34. Taufik sadly lost the spark of passion for badminton after his marriage life began. He would be the best ever if he was still as passionate as his 2004 self. He's still the reason I work so hard on my backhand smash. Lol

i'm 28 years old now, and i'm really glad to be grown up watching them play and living in their era, how time flies so fast...gonna miss them so much...i will tell about them to my kids...4 legendary beast in badminton.

The Four Horsemen of badminton.
All legend excel in their own way, Lin Dan's smashes are devastating back in his days. Lee CW is best at the net and diving for smashes, Peter flick of da wrist always impress me, and taufik for me is good at strength management and control or the shuttle. Sadly their era is coming to a halt, peter and Taufik already stoped. LCW is rumoured to stop after Rio and Lin Dan is also reaching his peek. :(
Lcw is known for being the fastest badminton player
Agreed. Lin Dan is a bit smarter than LCW when playing near the net. LCW was a bit faster. They both have crazy smashes. Taufik will always be remembered as the best backhand in badminton history. While Peter Gade is a bit more unpredictable with his moves than the other 3. Today's era Momota, Axelsen, and others are not that interesting compared to 2000-2010 era when these 4 were playing each other.

I came back to this Video Year 2017 is my Golden Era That year My Heart Is Full Of Excitement if i touch a single Badminton racket i imagine my self playing that..But today is pandemic No Practice also my Today i Have no Badminton racket..My Passion is Slowly Fading Out Because of This Pandemic😓
Badminton in that era, they didn't play the game but show the style and trick. They don't need too much 'smash' to make a point. That extreamly entertaining, very different with badminton nowadays.
Really miss my childhood memories, olympic is always the most awaited show on TV that time 😢

But unfortunately after he reach the top Taufiq (imho) kinda got lazy esp after he score the rich chick (his GF then, now his wife) who is a daughter of high ranking official in our country, and his personal life outside Badminton often became a distraction for him,... i still believe to this day that he actually could have achieve even more,...
Lin Dan is actually a nice guy, probably the reason why u dont like him very much is because of his attitude in playing badminton, but he shows sportsmanship and respect👍👍
