Definitely appreciate some Old World lore. I stared playing AoS after falling in love with the Total War:Warhammer games (aka I showed up late to the show) and it’s awesome that the current lore is deeper than what it seems on surface.
This is one part of Old World lore I don't really know anything about - delivered with your usual flair! Thanks for this! Unusual for you as it's not really Age of Sigmar related but I'm not complaining :-)
Hi Doug, thanks to your videos and you answering some of my questions before I finally dived in and got myself an ironjawz start collecting, shaman and the GHB2018. All set up and built to start playing 500pt games now. Thanks a bunch.
2+Tough He’d be so cool to have in an army, but I really don’t want to play Nurgle in Age of Sigmar. I’m not as attracted to the lore for them there. I do have a Death Guard army for 40K, though...
With Curse of the Vampire Coast coming out for Total War Warhammer 2 you should do some videos about that and the Pirates of Sartosa etc. I think it'd get a lot of views, especially as even veteran players don't get why Pirates of the Carribean is in the Warhammer World.. (I'm one of them, as far as I can tell they were only in a single Chronicles book!)
wait where's Archcaon during all this? does he even exist yet? also because Archaon defeated the old world does that make him what Tamurkhan wants to be?
Its bit hard, but you have to remember that as awesome as Tamurkhan is, there are several chaos champions like him... all on their own path to glory. Archaon stands above all of them, not bowing to any chaos god (like Tamurkhan bows to Nurgle). But also this was one of the limitations of the Old World. Because the setting was so finite, you're right... Where is Archaon?
Damn, you got me hyped, because I thought they brought him back in AoS. So this ain't AoS lore, it's WHFB lore. This "throne of chaos" campaign was actually a victim of AoS and the end times. We would've gotten 3 more books about his brothers if it wasn't for GW ending the setting. Still stings. Couldn't they have ended the setting a few years later? I'm sorry, still not over what we lost due to the death of fantasy. I haven't even talked about Monstrous Arcanum yet...
there is VERY little relevant art for this book. But I wanted to show off what there was :) the chaos dwarves also make their debut as a model range in this book

I'd love to have a model of him.
I'm excited to add Tamurkhan to my maggotkin army someday. That army has such beautiful (in a nurgley way) models.
Amazing! Thanks. Can't wait for some new releases of these 👍
Could you do some Slaanesh lore? What little there is of course.
For the plague father Nurgle!!

Why is there a chaos dwarf slide show? Was this an accident? If so... does this mean a future series on chaos dwarves!?
Brock Woods the dwarves Were apart of that era’.
Even the Mighty Chaos war mammoth was apart of the Horde

Shows all chaos dwarf art
I’ve never heard of this dude. How does he go into AOS?
Is this guy coming to AOS? Is he already here? Lol
Hey Cory! Everything in this book is available on Forge World, sort of a collector edition version of Warhammer :)
