SayberV1 I absolutely adore my Switch but my man, there is no secret sauce. I mean, the performance the Tegra X1 is delivering was what I was expecting from the Tegra P1(what we call Tegra X2). Even with that punch above its weight, we are not going to see games look or run better than they do on the Xbox one. Honestly speaking, it doesn't need to. It's a handheld device with near current generation visuals. That's already amazing.

There is a definite trend that is strongly forming of Nintendo Switch versions of games being about the same, or just barely behind Xbox One versions. Microsoft unwittingly helped make Switch a big success for many years to come with the way they made Xbox One under-powered, and now with their mid-gen upgrade they will be less rushed into next gen; yet for developers the original Xbox One model keeps development anchored to that baseline; which of course means Switch will get way more multiplatform games since it is in the same ballpark.

I have both games. Revelations plays great on the switch and is a smooth port. The difference I noticed was the switch version is brighter. Does it look better graphically? No but does it matter? No. The Xbox one version in my opinion is darker because the game is a survival horror game it's meant to be dark. I found an easy fix. Change your tv's brightness settings and guess what it's as bright as the switch. Again I didn't get the game for the graphics I got it because playing resident evil on the go is incredible.

I think its 30fps on Switch but im sorry..., 60 fps isnt needed at all for a Resident Evil game. I could understand it for Doom because of its fast paced action but it even for that game it shouldnt be that much of an issue. Resident Evil Revelations one started it out as a 3DS game perfectly playable at 30fps without much dips and the same goes for part 2 on other consoles( except vita really was kinda bad in frame-rate). 30fps is more of 'cinematic frame-rate' but it should be perfectly fine for a videogame as long if doesnt dip to much.

Switch looks brighter. If you like brighter games it might be better to your eyes. For me I kinda like it a bit darker seeings it’s a horror game. Easily remedied with gamma correction. I don’t know why people are all going crazy saying it’s better than Xbox one. The game was built for last gen and current gen in mind so it’s more like mid gen. The switch excels with these kinds of graphics. Also the areas where the Xbox one shows it’s power is frame rate. Still game looks great on switch.
trent trombley have an easy fix. Go to your tv settings and turn up the brightness and guess what the brightness is the same as the switch. Xbox one and ps4 versions look better but because it's portable the switch version is awesome and it still looks great.

The first episode is free on PS4 (60fps) so you can compare the first episode with the Switch version when it comes out.
The ps4 version has the same filter and I think that report of the switch versions fps may have been false
