It is extreme pain to setup SIP Trunk, as network settings are ultra basic. Not even static network route setting available. In my case it is a mandatory requirement from my ISP. I've tried adding the route via the Debian console but PBX won't accept it.

Hi @CrosstalkSolutions . I have installed FreePBX in a server and it's currently on LAN. It doesn't have internet connectivity. A SIP service provider given connection and there switch is connected to my plan switch where my pbx server is connected. They have provided me WAN IP address for my end there end. How can I configure this? Is this WAN IP address SIP server address?

Chris, why did you create 6 trunks, instead of 5, since you have 5 srvers for redundant you only needed the firstprimary trunk that you are using for inbound, then the backup trunks, your primary trunk is the the first you could use it too for outbound, your backups would be 1,2,3,4. not 5, you just added extra complexity by using all 5 outbound trunks separate from the inbound or primary.

Hi Chris, I’m using a TDM400P FXO card as I have POTS lines as my only option for external calls, are you planning on doing a video about this setup? Or can you point me towards a decent video? Thanks!

both outbound and inbout routes are created at same place in fpbx what signifies that its the outbound turnk and this is inbound ? cause one of the out bound (#3) is same as inbound route created at beginning of video except that the inbout rout has many ip address also specified in match field?

What if you have 50 "trunks"? Is there a way to add them in a group? Or is that not applicable? Thanks!

even if i have a VoIP system in the future, i won't use the crosstalk service, simply because you're on the other side of the atlantic.
