I recommend Behringer's Ultratone KXD 15, with its 15" woofer for great bass response over the still good 12" KXD 12 model. Check out Roland's KC 600 for a 15" woofer and their KC-990 with - I think- either two 10" or 12' speakers.

The point is, do you play more piano style or do you also do the bass guitar part. So a small amp may be ok for the piano player, but not for someone, using backings or playing organ with left hand bass.
I like the carvin AG100D. Has 3 inputs, including mic, 100W (mono), effects and graphic equalizer, all appied independently to each input, etc, etc, great amp with 100W power output....is a bit heavy though...
I liked my AG100D.
No one of these beats the dB technologies L160D for acoustic piano samples or EP (it's stereo), only thing is, if you want to play hammond organ you should add the sub 28D subwoofer, yes it costs more but is unbeatable in portability, SPL (116db 160W) and sound quality, all in a speaker the size of a 5" studio monitor
Why ist there no roland cube street?
Keyboard amps are either to big and heavy or too small and underpowered.I like Roland Lite cube monitor but it’s only 10w.Also keyboards sound better IMO in stereo or with a tweeter.
Yes! Thanks! I'm considering owning 2 or more amps, one being small and lightweight, and one that's well powered with full bass and biamping. I'm gigging in mono to please my bandleader (he wants me through his PA), but I miss using my stereo-capable Motion Sound amp. I'm not knocking mono keyboard amplification, while I love stereo sound, even dual mono is useful and appealing to me. Whatever you buy, be careful to not drive your keyboard amp too hard. It'll sound lousy and it might blow out your speaker(s).Try before you buy whenever you can, because disliking one's amp is a cryin' shame. Have fun!

I'm wondering if this is a genuine review where someone has tried the products with actual keyboards, or just a way to generate clickthru revenue. Haven't tried the others but I have a Roland Mobile Cube. It has some good features lie reverb/delay and various options for different input. HOwever, it sounds totally crap compared to going into a pair of studio monitors - you could buy 1 monitor for the same price and it would still sound better in mono than this amp. Even if you were busking and needed the ruggedness, i think you'd be better with a bigger amp. You wouldn't gig with this - too small. I tried it with a bunch of synths - Nord Stage 2, Nord Lead 2X, DSI Prophet 08, Moog Voyager, Blofeld, various Rolands - Juno 106. The amp doesn't really do justice to any patch on any of these instruments. The Rhodes piano emulations on the Stage 2 (with a bit of overdrive) are normally amazing but push the Roland Cube beyond it's limits - nasty distortion. The analog synths all produce a range of frequencies with rich harmonics that get lost in muddy crapness. It's just no pleasure to listen to. Also cuts out with loud crackles if the input level is too high. In fairness, it's possible that all the amps of this size will sound poor - it's just due to physics. Headphones for practice is the only way ahead. In the end I gave it to my kid to use with his drum machine
It would be nice to see a review with more discussion of the audible definition of speakers, particularly in use with digital stage pianos. I do not believe that amplification technology has kept pace with digital piano development. There's a market for better piano combo speakers, as monitors on stage and mini PA in hotels/restaurants. Digital pianos deserve gear capable of amplifying their fantastic digital samples more faithfully. The combos I've tried all sound too shrill or too rubbery. Let's have rugged combos which make that pianistic crunchy sound on the lower notes!
