Unlike the live-action film series, Degeneration is set within the same universe as the original video game series, the main characters are Kennedy and Redfield, who appear together for the first time since the 1998 game Resident Evil 2.
2:05 What a call back from the Resident Evil 2 opening scene. 4:55 The evil corp smug laughing in the background. Starting with this animated movie, I've regained back to loving the series again. I just wish I could watch that one story that's not on the DVD back then.
Sony, the distributor of previous films, wanted to create a full CG film version of Biohazard. In 2006, Capcom joined, but the production process did not start until a year later.
Honestly out of all the animated RE movies this one would probably make a decent game if it was ever made into one. Just needs more plot and focus with more Bio Weapons and you’re set.
I remember being in a youth group and before it begins they provided an xbox 360 for us to mess around with, so we played black ops 2 campaign (with no blood on) and halo reach- anyway, this nerdy dude let me borrow this movie. I was really into zombie movies as a kid (and grew up in the perfect era to be a zombie fan) so he let me borrow this movie on dvd. Good times, now i got it on dvd as a goodwill find
I have a soft spot for CGI video game movies. Not sure why, I guess it feels like the games due to the CGI, but they still get to go crazy BECAUSE of the CGI excuse. Live action struggles and feels so much less fun. Best of all, no quick-time events! I didn't think it'd get me, but the umbrella gag did me in!

Thanks man ☠️. Just in case I never saw any resident evil games at all
These Resident Evil animated movies are really fun even though they are more action than horror but they are the entertainment type of action
