Hey everyone todays video is all about beautiful homes and mansions that all have some sort of bunker or safe room to survive the end of the world. These mansions have fully self sustaining bunkers that you could live down there for a very long time. The homes featured in this video are all different some have a fully kitted out basement with a panic room and some of the houses are huge fortified mansions with a full underground house below it incase of an apocalypse. Would any of you be interested in buying a house like this?

Once people know of a bunker , their value drops tremendously. Not matter what there has to be a place for air to come and go out. How long can they stay inside when the air holes get blocked. People are whats the most dangerous thing about all the scenarios.
Yea, true. I think it'd be fairly easy to have multiple air sources, but I'd want the entrance to be very sturdy. Like the one in the John Goodman Cloverfield movie, but hidden.
But it's such a fantasy to have a completely armoured, safe, hidden, underground fortress with infinite supplies. I wish I had bought bitcoin when it was fractions of a penny =(
The first one is actually $5.75 Million, or $4.9 Million (The Real Estate Agent, Five Star Real Estate Leaders, has two listings for the same house at these two different price points for some reason), and 290.55 Acres. 6 Full Bathrooms and 3 half baths.

Every house through super high insulation renovations coupled with regional and on-site renewables can become energy securit and sustainable.
We gutted our 1912 two story. With new triple pane windows, new exterior doors and R30 foam board insulation in all exterior walls, attic and basement with R11 between all floors and a small wood stove for safety and leisure...we are more than half way to sustainability.

@brianredban9393 I think everyone cares so they are warm and secure during the cold winter. While on a big job this year I renovated our cold old rented mobile house with a full new insulated skirting and new thin film plastic on all the windows. It worked so well that we used 2 electric heaters and did not need to turn on the natural gas heater!

Just take that money and buy an island with enough fruit trees and room for planting vegetables, fish for meat...problem solved. Plus you do not have to live in a small hole in the ground.
If there's one thing to note this shows how grossly over priced Australian homes are compared to any of these.

Those prices look totally rediculious. How can you buy a mansion for $1M in the US and you would be lucky to get an ordinary house for that in New Zealand, I just dont believe it.

Building a bunker to survive a tornado makes sense. Seems useless to build a bunker to survive WW3 though. First issue can you get into it in time. The Federal Government is unlikely to let the General Public know of a Strategic Nuclear Strike is incoming. Second issue is how long can you stay in the bunker? There is a strong likelihood of Nuclear Winter lasting years. Killing off plants and animals alike. Soil and Water sources will be contaminated. So growing food is out of the question at least on the surface for sometime. Third issue what happens if you need medical care? Hospitals, and Pharmacies will be destroyed and the Doctors and Nurses will probably be dead. I think in the end the survivors will envy the dead.
