This footage is obviously shot in mid July, the hottest part of the year. The whole mountainous area is actually very rich in springs and water and during the winter everything is blanketed with snow. The Cedars Ski Resort is a very popular area for skiing.
The Mediterranean is unique place in this world. Born and raised in Kabylia, it is the same nature, tasty fruits and vegetables. Merci pour la video .❤ We love Lebanon. On aime le Liban .
The Bsheraniyeh are famous for for generosity in allowing anyone to pick 🍎 🍏 from their orchids however without permission you better be a Fast Runner Hehehe 😅
This is a piece of heaven on earth. Its my favorite place in Lebanon. Some of the Cedars of God, a UNESCO World Heritage, in Kadisha Valley are believed to be older than 4,000 years old. The trees were first mentioned in the Epic of Gilgamesh. You should have visited Gebran Khalil museum!
In the Old Testament, the 'true cedar' is mentioned numerous times, adding to the myth and folklore that surrounds this ancient tree. In 1 Kings 4 :33, Solomon made the cedar the 'first of trees', while in Isaiah 35:2, the cedar was referred to as the 'glory of Lebanon' Wonderful trees
The cedars of Lebanon were the most famous trees in all of antiquity. They formed the basis of the economy in ancient Lebanon. Pharaohs from ancient Egypt, kings from Assyria, Babylon and far-flung reaches of the ancient world all clamored for the great timber of these cedars. They were mentioned extensively in connection with the construction of Solomon's First Temple in Jerusalem.
There is a cedar tree in Algeria or Morocco, but it is a different type than the one in Lebanon. It is a legendary tree from the days of the Phoenicians, meaning it is more than 2000 years old, perhaps
the cedars of Lebanon are one of a kind , they re different than any type of cedars around the globe . they're called CEDRUS _ LIBANUS in latin because this kind of cedars exist only in Lebanon .. few countries took some CEDRUS - LIBANUS like in UK where they're spotted by tourists and they take extreme care of these trees , they put fences around it and ask people not to touch it .

You are right. Bsharri is 1400m. The Forest is 2000m. Thanks for the correction!
