Young Sheldon's mother does a wonderful job, and reminds me very much of Laurie Metcalf, older Sheldon's mother on The Big Bang Theory. It turns out it is more than just good acting. Zoe Perry, young Sheldon's mother.is actually Laurie Metcalf's real daughter. They are both spectacular actresses.
