It’s sad that this drama didn’t get much attention like squid game. This is a very educative and important social topic that world need.
It's top 1 and trending in my country, everyone from teenagers to adults is talking about it
This drama is a much easier tool to teach today's generation on principles and values after you've taught them, Christian principles here's still more to learn is the streetwise reality ,that teens get exposed too at school and in society. Hope I'm making sense
@@mamabear4219 bullshet
Yeah, I got your point
Because the trailer was not uploaded on the main Netflix Channel unlike Squid Game. If this trailer was posted on the main it will reach a wider audience since it has a lot of subscribers.
After Squid Game success, Hellbound and The Silent Sea made a buzz cuz it was also posted on the main channel.
As a kid myself, I definitely like this whole message. There's a lot of shit that goes on in school that kind of could be punishable by law but because they're not punished they think they can do what ever the hell they want, so this is a really important message!
i think the message will be the opposite. In a drama the main character changes their view often through events. While the drama starts as her being the law and order judge, she will learn throughout the drama that its not the right method and that they need to be judged differently than adults. She will learn to have empathy for the juveniles by learning their backstories and show (more) mercy at the end.
@@rilokiley3731 that would be a shitty message tbh. Many criminals get away all the time just because they are under 18. And after 18 they commit the same crimes again.
honestly i just want a middle ground. like kids who do really serious crimes and are obviously not even repenting then they have to be charged as adults but on the other hand, some cases really require some leniency because of the circumstances forcing them into stuff ( like prostitution and theft ) and actual high possibility of change.
@@rilokiley3731 yk what? you might be right!! I just realised that characters DO change their views a lot...we'll see!
@@izayakun6238 Yes I totally agree!
I have just marathoned the 10 episodes and it was SO GOOD. No humour or jokes. 100% amazing acting. I love that kind of drama.
Absolutely acceptable 😉
Same here!
Me too
I just did too! Hoping for a 2nd season.
Yeah I was surprised how good it was I usually don't go for the type of TV shows too much but it was riveting
Law dramas filled with mystery and commotions involving society are the best, hopefully future lawyers in real world would do kind of the same work to teach kids or people about the importance of Laws
Necessário se faz a convivência dos pais educadores, com os filhos, também!!!!!!
I find myself weirdly attracted to Judge Sim despite her blunt and disdain attitude. Sharp, beautiful, classy, mature woman that's tough to crack yet has a weak hidden side, and she has a strong sense of justice that most men in this drama lack. Got to give it to the actress' performance, her gaze is intimidating yet intriguing.
Agreed. I love this kind of character where it portrays strong woman that went through a lot of obstacles but still manage to stay rational elegantly
She is amazing, the best character by far. Everyone is mediocre but her.
But she isn’t real, she belongs in the fantasy of drama because really how many people like her exist? None.
yes she’s mommy 😩
You’re critiquing skills are kinda impressive af. I think you have a way with words😂
@@dolliebun7377 god ffs
Kim Hye Soo is the best in this kind of stories, she always gives her 200% in her performances. Count me in!
@Erna01 move to heaven was a masterpiece. Maybe it's because after watching solely romance dramas when I first started kdramas over 3 years ago, crash landing on you isn't really that epic
i watched one of her movies, Coin Locker Girl. i love her!!!
Pretty relevant topic in Korea. There have been real life cases that teens exploiting the system knowing they won’t be charged with an adult crime.
Fact
@Erna01 Drug abuse is way less rare. Forced prostitution has been going on for...a very long time. Likely since the Korean war.
The teen thing is kinda a new thing. Loophole.
Not just Korea its prevalent in other countries as well.
The first case is based on true story.
This is seriously the Best Kdrama I’ve seen. Real emotions, Real situations. I legit cried the first 2 episodes. This show is sooo good.
That’s so true….I’m so invested
Good show indeed!
Me too it was so good!!! 100% acting, no romance, no bullsht
@Erna01 Thanks I will check it out.
You should watch Kdrama such as
Extracurricular, Stranger, Goblin, Mr Sunshine, Signal, Reply1988, My Mister, Move to heaven, Healer. These are masterpieces..
drama is extremely underrated and so good. its a realistic drama where society really percepts juveniles in the eyes of the law and to everyone.
@@Flying-Chicken people throw word of "underrated" so easily. Like its "underrated" to them while it isnt. This drama was successful and huge hit within korea
I think it’s not underrated as here in Japan it’s currently at the No.1 spot and trending.
It’s not underrated tho in malaysia. It’s on ranked 3 in top 10 netflix
the series looks more eventful than i thought, it seems to deal with real issues, i can't wait!!
Just finished the drama. This is not talked enough. There are so many important life lessons taught. And the speeches are so powerful. It has the right amount of suspense and all the characters are well written. Its definitely is a more heavy drama but it portrayed the ugly in teens very well and how many don't change is they are not scared by the law. 3/3/22
I love this drama. You could even see how people kept saying "but they're a minor". I loved her attitude because there are children who steal once and get in trouble, and later change. There are a lot who kill, steal, abuse, bully, only to be tried later as adults.
That is because of a failing of the system and NOT inherently the children. Current justice and welfare systems around the world are perpetuating this cycle of crime and it’s not hard to understand if people actually read the current research.
@@naomikelly6466 Yes, it is the system but the system is faar from being fixed any time soon. And the system will never be that perfect. Many people going through terrible childhoods end up with mental illnesses of some sort or some issues, while a small percentage becomes sociopaths. Justice systems in the world fail to protect children from these terrible environments they grow up in or to provide sufficient mental health facilities. Therefore, as you said, this would be never ending as long as the system isnt fixed. We cant fix families but we can provide kids with help. However it's harder to identify abuse because not everyone is kind. Even when the system identified abusers, the middlemen often worsen things. Or the abuse isnt blatantly known.
However, kids can show apathy as well. When kids do a crime, sometimes they need attention but severe crimes, they need punishment regardless of age. In that situation, it's the perpetrator who should be punished. Have you read about the case of Junko Furuta. All of them minors at that point tortured her for 44 days. Can you believe that? They had decent childhoods. The system failed HER because they weren't punished enough. Sometimes you don't even need a bad childhood , they're just terrible people. There are things that can be forgiven and things that cant be. The system can only do so much, but it's their duty to punish such offenders
Im with the female judge here, I think law on underage in asia are lenient that is why bullying and sexual assault in korea is common on underage kids coz they won't get punished
From what I saw from this Drama the problem is leniency on those who harm children period whether their juveniles or adults. Those adult abusers got slaps on the wrists compared to their children. And the episodes highlight that the Court can't even reinforce adult abusers showing up to their rehabilitation classes/services. The one guy skipped a year and no one did anything until his daughter was back in court.
Same in America...see NYC!
@@dianalord5825 I know it’s just a show, we also need this way of thinking here in California as well we are being over-run by criminals and the police can’t do anything about it. Because look at who’s our governor Gavin Newsome he is ruining our state not only that the homeless is getting way out of hand.
I love this actress so much!!! Everything she has starred in so far has been absolutely brilliant!!!!
Me too! I like her! Her acting is intense man!
Me too. Signal, Hyena
Soooo sad this show wasn’t continued. Maybe they’ll bring it back eventually in some form. Incredible acting, effects, plot, character development. Everything. 10/10.
Y'ALL DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS ALL STAR LINE UP!!!!!! OMG NETFLIX DONT MESS THIS UP!
They didn't it's literally soooo good
@Erna01 Kim Hye Soo is one of the best with her versatility and exceptional acting range. Btw, She has posted on her IG all the casts, writer and director. She’s the sweetest and thoughtful actor out there.
Marathoned the 10 episodes, and it was a masterpiece... teaches us the important role of family and environment in child growth.. the actors delivers the message and emotions really well
I bet she's got a backstory when she was younger where a juvenile offender did something to her or her family or sum. that's prob why she hates them so much
lmaooo definitely, that’s kdrama for us😭
I hope so cause otherwise she's just the kind of person that believes in law in order so fervently that she sees no reason to break it no matter one's circumstances.
And I was thinking that she has been a judge for so long that she got tired of seeing young offenders get away with it. Lol
Classic Kdrama-
or maybe her brother was the juvenile offender, someone from her family
I can't stress enough how strong, real and amazing this show is - the acting is beyond amazing and this is a very important topic. Not only is this about law and stuff but about emotions and being human. Everyone should watch this!
Just finished this series. And it's remarkable. Wonder why it wasn't promoted more since it's a Netflix original. Would have loved to see our judges play games! What a phenomenal cast including the veteran actors and child actors. They all did such a tremendous job.
After I watched this series, I remenber my childhood life. My Family is not bad family. But cold blood. I have never chance to eat with my all family member. I always abandom. I alwys want run away from my family. I am not angry with them. I only want release them from my life. So I tried my best and can live on my feet. Now I live alone. Somebody think I am cold blood. Because they thought I abandoned my family. Nobody know the ture thing.
This drama should literally get so much recognition
What a gem. I just discover this drama in Netflix. So much love, but love with responsibility and disciplines.
This drama's one of the best I've ever seen in my entire life. Don't know why it's not so popular
The story is as good as the trailer. Damn it. Epicness overload.
This drama will give so much headaches and pain, I’m getting the vibes from penthouse/sky castle/class of lies kids. They know most of the time the law will be on them and not as strict as on adults so they seem proud doing crime and avoid punishment? I’m ready for the roller coaster ride, bring it on!
Never heard of class of lies. Gonna check it out now
Just started this on Netflix. It's very emotional. Based on reality. I am watching it non-stop.
This looks so good and seems like it will be so fun to watch but more than that, I'm so glad that they're actually talking about this issue through this drama cause I think it's very important.
LETS GOOOOOO IM SO EXCITED WITH THIS DRAMA
Signal, those who know will understand.
Reason why I love kdramas, they always come with new concepts ❣️
Having watched this, and being a young offender 20 years ago, it is something that should be more highly viewed. This show was very accurate with regards to peer pressure and parental disregard. Watching this was worth my time, it will be worth yours.
Binged watch this series..i learned alot..im one of those who dnt believe that minors should not be punished for a crime... theres too much loop holes and this series will lead u from point to point... hoping this will get attention from the consumers aside from the typical korean loves stories
First of all I would like to thank all the people who have made this show so beautiful and powerful. This was my first Korean show. I can say this to you guys with complete conviction, this was probably one of the few shows in the world that you can imbibe in your life. Many times while watching this show, I got tears in my eyes. It was very difficult for me to put my words in one line. The show tried to portray the issues in such a powerful way that you can't usually understand.
The series is truly heartwarming. I never expected to cry on a law drama series. Please watch it.
The point is, if those kids are big enough to commit serious CRIMES are are also big enough to get real punishments and jail sentences
This is very nice.. we should have proper rules and guidelines for juvenile offenders. This will set a benchmark for others.. eagerly waiting for this series
Just started watching. 👍 Another Brilliant series from Korea. As usual awesome performances from cast. South Korea make some of the best television shows and movies out there. 👌👍👍👍
The boy offender in episode 1 was played by an actress, Lee Yeon(이연)! Her acting was so perfect🥰
Finish this series for a day and I'm not disappointed!! Its so good and there's a lot of lesson we can learn from this.
One of the best dramas ever. Like the acting is astounding by each and every person. No overacting, cringe acting or borring plot. Hats off. I hope they make k dramas like this with the less forced bad acting. Cried buckets while watching this as well.
I always love law dramas.

This is such a masterpiece. I cried i think in every episode. I relate so much as a teen.
Yey , I am not alone.
Me too. I literally cried in every episode because idk but the storyline and kim hye soo’s character really gave impactful to myself in every aspect
Just finished this show and omg it's soooooo good! Not sure how this isn't topping the charts across the world. Highly highly recommend people to watch this!
You're my favorite Kim hye soo among korean actresses
I hope you make a lot of kdrama series after juvenile justice
Confessions, beyond evil, now this, I can't get enough with korean series
I can’t wait Kim Hye Soo ‘s new drama. She ‘s the best in acting. Her performance makes me impressive, love her ❤️❤️❤️
This show seems really promising. Can't wait to watch this. I wish shows like these get fame like 'Squid Game' & 'All of us are dead'.
i feel like a good plot twist was that one of them was framed, or maybe she was one of them. i think it would be interesting if there was a plot twist. or maybe someone did it for a good reason so she covers it up. it'll be good by itself, but it would be even more interesting if it wasn't straightforward
I think it’s the first time l’ve seen a drama with this theme. I am in the third episode and drama is very good.Greeting from Mexico 🇲🇽 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼💕🇲🇽👫🇰🇷💕
This drama is so good,, I cried a lot while watching this!!
I just loved this series. I love all Korean dramas or movies that attack social issues. They always make me cry like the movie Silenced
One doesn’t experience self-transcendence, the illusion of self only dissipates- 🎈
This will obviously be amazing look at the plot and the actors in it 😭❤️👍
omgggg just from the trailer alone im absolutely hyped. I will definitely be wathing this
yes!!! we need more law kdramas! after law school, this is such an anticipated one for me!!!!
I NEED SEASON 2 , THIS DRAMA #1 IN MALAYSIAAAA
I started watching this amazing drama ❤️😍
LOVED THIS.
Couldn’t watch anything else till I finished bingeing it. Even though each episode is around 1 hour, the cliff hangers at the end are so interesting that you can’t stop watching.
Looking forward to this drama. Honestly, I hate how juveniles get lenient punishment because of there age and the argument there brain is still developing 😒.
im skeptical yet excited for this show, interested to learn why she hates young offenders cause not all of them are bad, some do things because of their circumstances but other young offenders are bat shit crazy and deserve harsh consequences so im excited
She used to be one I bet.
I think she used to be a young offender too & think of herself as a monster. Just a theory though.
@@AndrewMcClenning possibility
@@itsamemarzia3101 maybe
i think its related to her family somehow. maybe kids or siblings. i think she was wronged.
The total shock when I found out Judge Sim's actress is in her 50s. I thought she was the same age as Taejoo's actor.
Great work 💪
She is queen of dramas 😍
This drama is strong and very good, I really liked it and the Judge's work 👏👏👏👏👏 that phrase with which the drama ends: I hate criminals, juvenile delinquents. wow I agree with her. 👍👍👍👍
i can’t wait to watch this!!!
I don’t usually watch dramas that aren’t romantic comedies but this looks good
Kim Hye Soo one of D' Best actress of korea.
STREAM IT!!! DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!!!
This show is very good!! The acting and the story are all well done! I think it’s been a while since I cried for a drama show 😭
After HYENA, I am back for another masterpiece presented by her 😍
Kim Hye soo is a legendary actress huge fan of her from India 😊
Kim Hye-Soo is such a wonderful actress. She can take on any role and do an excellent job!
I love Kim Hye Soo and i love to see her portray different characters in all her dramas.
I really love her on this kind of drama.
yes. was eagerly waiting for this one. Such a stellar cast of powerhouse actors and actresses.
I LOVE HER SO MUCHHHH
I'm so grateful for this drama. Young offenders are getting so f*cking out of hand in korea, there's literal MURDER committed by teens but nothing is done about it. Love this awareness strategy
Episode 4 🔥🔥
This show was EVERYTHING!!!!! If you’re a parent, you should watch!!! I loved every single minute. Do not pass this up!
I think it's my sign to start watching it
There should be a season two for sure 👍❤️
Korean always have an irony to be made as good story
Truly my favourite korean drama series! Not a parent yet but I’ve bookmarked it for my future kids because it’s truly such a educational masterpiece that touches on social issues… Gutted to know it will not be renewed 😢
This work deals with actual juvenile crimes in recent years, which have raised the issue of juvenile punishment as a social problem. In particular, the first episode, the murder of infants, shocked Korea. The lower sentence compared to the crime given to them has still caused controversy over whether it is unconditionally right to give juvenile offenders a chance to reflect on them.
ahhh shes here! i absolutely loved signal so her starring is a good sign!
I can't wait for this show!!
we have these great actors actresses in a drama mah goddd I'll wait for it
Only up to E7 & have gone thru a box of tissues! Excellent stories & great acting from my fav actor from Misaeng. All stories show the heartbreak of teens & their survival. Great writing! Love Korean television. 💜
Hey, I'm nearly finished with this series and it is riveting, heart wrenching and so powerful. The writing is top notch as well as all the actors. It was difficult not to feel the individuals' parents and guardians extreme despair in their pain. Such senselessness and indifference some of these children actually live with. All psychopaths to some degree among many other mental disabilities. Yes some of the parents and guardians didn't do their due diligence and were also plagued by their own toxicity. Unbelievable reality in some countries. The truth in this series is harsh and searing. Thanks.
hope it will exceed my expectations cuz im really looking forward for this one
Kim Hye-soo!! 💗💗
I just love the story... The story lines n the acting is impeccable.... We need more of these type....
