You should put an alarm plug on your freezer. It will alert you if there is any power problems with your freezer. It is important if you have that much meat invested in one freezer.

Tenderize round steak & b used many ways one of the nicest ways to fix is to Brown it on both sides season to taste add sliced onions or diced water cover and simmer make a gravy thicken with cornstarch not flour as it is a dinner gravy. Serve with mounds of mashed potatoes and a good green vegetable
I put beef roast in crock pot, add lipton onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, potatoes, onion and cook for 6-8 hours. And instead of water, I sometimes use beef broth.
Love home grown beef! Just wait until you eat the hamburger. There is very little grease, I never have to strain it I just throw a paper towel in and soak it up. I Can already see jessy getting a little bit bigger in muscle that is lol
You have to remember Walmart does not have a meat cutting facility in ANY store!!!! all of their meat is processed and shipped. in no telling how many days it's been in a warehouse, on the back of a truck or sitting in the back room in the cooler. TAKE YOUR CHANCES.

When we were a young family we also bought sides of beef and pork. Now that we're older and the kids are long gone we don't consume as much meat.
