So I rewatched this movie recently after initially dismissing it and its dark tone, and I gotta say, it's better than I remember. I've come to the conclusion that as long as you're in the right mood, this film is super enjoyable Also, I think I actually prefer it over the first one. Batman 1989 feels like Tim Burton saw it as a fun movie to make in his spare time, but with this one, it was a passion project, he really wanted to tell a story
Imagine you're having a dinner party with Bruce Wayne. The food's good, the conversation's going pretty well. And then all of a sudden a bat-shaped light appears on the wall in the middle of the house. it would really spice up the conversation
Gotta love the pitch meeting for this one, especially for what they did with Catwoman. "'Selina Kyle, huh? What's her deal?' 'Oh well let me tell you sir, she's got glasses on, so she's ABSOLUTELY hideous!' 'Sounds like an unattractive loser for sure.'" "'So since she finds out about Shreck, he pushes her out of his office window, and she falls like 25 stories.' 'Oh, so she dies?' 'Momentarily yeah, but then a bunch of cats lick her and nibble on her fingers, so she's fine.' 'Ooh, life-saving cat saliva is TIGHT!' 'It sure is, sir. So then she goes home and starts behaving like a cat since, you know, cats saved her life.' 'I totally understand, my poop comes out white now.'" Once again, I loved the reaction, and if you want to consider some recommendations for reaction content in the future, I recommend the Street fighter movie honest trailer, the live action The Last Airbender honest trailer, the honest trailer that is for BOTH of the live action g.i joe movies, and the ones I am most looking forward to seeing your reaction of, the Batman movie 1966 honest trailer, which would fit in with the consistent Bat-mood your videos are going for right now, and both of the Cosmonaut Variety Hour videos about the Spider man Sam Raimi trilogy and amazing Spider-Man duology (in that order, and although it is somewhat disliked due to what seems like unfair criticisms, it is honestly just exaggerated for humor, but it works really well and both Cosmonaut videos are fun to watch, so watch them back to back in two separate reactions if you can). With that being said, please consider my suggestions if you want to, and thanks again for the reaction. :) Also let me know if I am bothering you too much with this, I just wanted to keep reminding you of fun stuff to watch in case you are interested.
🤣 how am I not totally messed up growing up with these movies!! Haha I absolutely love this one and so do my kids!! You seemed to really love these ones! Haven't seen you laugh as hard in a while!! They both knocked it outta the park in my opinion!! ❤️
If you're into batman a lot or just good stories. The detective comics run with Mariko Tamaki has been absolutely fantastic. Art and story is amazing and not much background needed. I would just recommend starting from at issue #1034.
I put Returns up there, but still like high midcard level. For me the Nolan films are the top, then Batman 89, New Batman 22, Returns, Batman 60s, Val Kilmers, and dead last George Clooneys. If you take the last two off the series has been great. I loved the 60s for what it was at the time. Val and George's Batman movies just seemed more bad taste rather then a product of the time. There isn't a lot of difference in the suits between 89 and returns, but I prefer 89's look just a little bit better overal. It just has the look even if not as functional as say even the Dark Knight or the New Batman outfit. It just is so iconic. It was due to 89 that every halloween after I was Batman.
I know we all have a soft spot for the OG Batman movies, especially me being Batman's BIGGEST fan, LOL! BUT, this was a bad movie. In fact, someone took ALL of Catwoman's scenes out of the movie after her fall from the building and it changed almost NOTHING other than Shreck's death at the end. And the characterizations? This was another case of Tim Burton making a Tim Burton movie with Batman characters in it!

Both were awesome but honest trailer for the win. Have you watched the honest trailer for no way home yet? For April theater showings there’s morbius sonic and fantastic beasts 3 and the dvd release date for no way home. I’d like to see morbius and sonic But time will tell
