  • I know how much you all love my Trailing Ivy beanie pattern.
    Well now you can love it even more with this beautiful Trailing Ivy earwarmer.
    I've got two versions for you here.
    One which is done completely in my Trailing Ivy pattern & a cheats version which gives a plain panel at the back saving time and yarn and making it a bit quicker to make.
    As a few people have asked about making this earwarmer on the 46/48 machines.
    Follow the technique but knit the pattern between needles 4/5 and 20/21 to allow for the width difference. YEY.
    Please tag me if you make it as I love to see your work and it helps support my channel too if you share the link to the video so that others can come and take part and subscribe and help me to bring you new patterns.
    All I ask is that you consider giving a donation to a small no kill animal rescue or shelter or any cause close to your heart if you find this or any of my patterns useful to you, esp if you sell your makes using my designs.
    I'd really appreciate that in lieu of a coffee.
    Many thanks on and all for your support
    All the best
    Caz and all the critters

    Love this! I had no idea I could make more advanced and prettier patterns on my knitting machine. I don't have this particular one, but I now have 5 sizes to work on. My latest one is the Sentro 32 needle, so now I have a 22 (Addi), 32, 40, and 48 (Sentro) and the 46 needle Addi! I like to make socks and leg warmers (my latest projects) and needed the 32 needle for the adult size. (It also makes newborn baby beanies really easily and quick!) I like this pattern a lot and think leg warmers in this pattern would be beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

    I pull my cast on rows with the removal row by pulling from the opposite end from my tails. I learned this technique from the person teaching me to use a sock knitting machine. I usually don’t break that thread. I also use a piece of slick string not yarn. Love this pattern.

    Oh I'm just floored. I absolutely loved this. I looked up your trailing ivy stitch( it's been a min) and I found this half way through making my ear warmer. I love making flat panels with this stitch. I need to work on the shawl next!

    I only have a Sentro 48 I’ve just got it a month ago. Now I need a smaller one to make these. Or is there a way of making them on the 48?

    • @blisterbaby
      @blisterbaby Год назад +1

      It will just be wider. Maybe do your patterned stitches on an additional pair or two of needles?

    • @craftycaz
      @craftycaz  Год назад +1

      Hi Kim Like Sanita says you can make them on the 48 they'll just be wider. Some people prefer the wider ones esp if they have thick hair.

    • @kimberleyfehr8113

    • @craftycaz

      @@kimberleyfehr8113 To have the 3-4 row band of plain on the edges yes I would and knit the pattern between N4/5 and N20/21. Hope this helps
