- Hello, friends! Welcome back to my channel One Blessed Mess for this Busy Mom of 5 Morning Routine! Warning: real life ahead 🤣 We have been adjusting to having a newborn in the house! We LOVE it, but it also makes our mornings somewhat unpredictable. Come along with me on what a typical morning looks like in this season of life! ☕

I love that ur older kids are independent. nothing wrong wiv a bit of mess. I have nothing wrong wiv the amount of cream u want in ur coffee. Nothing wrong wiv playing wiv make up it’s getting her to think bout it it. I also use youversion, it’s awesome!!! Nothing wrong wiv being small for her age. I do laundry most days, it makes life easier. Cuddle time is awesome!!!

I really love your videos! My kids are 9, 7, 5, and 4months. So it encourages me to see your real life stuff like the big kids destroying a room and that you don't wake up hours before your kids like I see on other youtube morning routines (I usually get up like an hour after my big kids!). And then you also motivate me because I see that you are still getting the homeschooling done even with a newborn and a toddler, so if you can do it, maybe I can do it too (since I don't even have a toddler or a youtube channel 😁). Anyway... thanks for the video.

Hey there! I can’t express enough how much I love watching your videos being that this is my first full year of homeschooling. I’ve watched so many of your videos and wanted to ask you this on pretty much everyone. I am a very visual person, and I am still trying to lay out what subjects I should be covering, how frequently I should be doing them each week, and which curriculums to choose for May 3 and first grader. I was wondering if you would ever consider writing out your schedule For each child and also for each day. Showing us viewers what subjects you cover every day, what subjects you cover just once or twice a week, and then also what curriculums you’re using for those subjects. I love all of the in-depth videos but I wish I could see it on a more macro view. I guess often times it just seems, and maybe this is just because it’s my first year, like I don’t understand how so many of you homeschool moms get all the subjects done for each child every day.
I TOTALLY understand what you mean!! Sometimes it's hard to really see the true routine/schedule for each child in an edited day in the life! I can absolutely make a video about each child's set-up during the day and what days a week we do each thing!

Sometimes I think if I could see it on paper what you guys do for each kid and how long you kind of allow for it then it gives me a little idea of how more seasoned homeschool mamas are structuring their days. We are currently doing master books language arts, Master books math, A little Bible, and gather round homeschool and I seriously don’t know how you’d have time for anything else. I’ve considered may be in a more in-depth history or science but I don’t know how he would get it all done without being at the table all day long. Which is not my heart for our homeschool. When I looked at the good and beautiful for example there were just so many additional games activities etc. I don’t know how you could do that curriculum for every subject. Then how you add in separate spelling, grammar, science, history… LOL it makes my head spin a little bit. Anyways just thinking it would be helpful if you screenshot it or just showed a piece of paper with that information all written out in one place to get a better grasp of it. It would sure help super visual Rookie homeschool mamas like me 🥴🤣🤦🏽♀️. Thanks so much in advance for all that you do to share your homeschool life with all of us! It’s such a blessing!
I will be in the baby stage in about 8 weeks! I’m so ready to not be pregnant anymore, even though tiny humans change the whole dynamic. Seeing how sweet your little guy is gives me hope that I can be a boy mom. Right now I just have a daughter (6, in 1st grade) so I’ve only known girl so far.

No, it certainly doesn’t last forever. My babies (boy/girl twins) are 10! So strange to me not to have little ones anymore. The preschool years are hard, but still the best imo!
It really is so strange when you get out of that baby stage! We had a few years in between my middle and youngest where we didn't have any diapers, and it was weird! 😆

Helloo you have a beautiful family ❤️. Just out of curiosity what time does your homeschool starts after you morning routine ? I homeschool too first year and I’m so ready to give up I have a 9yr old, 3 yr old and a 14 month old idk how you do it but it’s impressive!
The book Teaching from Rest might be an encouragement to you!
We usually start anywhere between 9 or 9:30, but sometimes not until 10! My kids are early risers, and I'm usually up by 6:30/7. I absolutely concur with Teaching From Rest!! That first year can be so brutal, but hang in there!! There is so much grace as you find your footing, and the beauty of homeschooling is being able to mold your day around YOUR family's needs 🤍🤍 Your day doesn't have to look like mine or anyone else's! You've got this, Mama!!!

We naturally start around 9/9:30! I find this gives me enough time in the morning to get some things accomplished since we are early risers ☺

Can you post some content showing food hauls on a budget meal prep for a large family systems you might have for balancing time and attention to all your kiddos schedules with sports extra curricular etc? I feel like just with the busy schedule of school tutors homework and basketball I am struggling to find balance and time
I enjoyed watching your morning routine! I read a book called Desperate by Sally Clarkson when I was in the trenches with many littles and I found it to be such a huge encouragement; you should check it out if you ever have time :) I think you would like it.
