Great question! If you're using one central wick, I don't see why you can't make these into candles. I'd just do some research on the resin you're using, and what temperature it can withstand. 💙
So pretty!! Do you think you could use this resin mix to coat Glass Candle Jars, to give that iridescent/holographic effect? The heat won't peel/crack the coating?
Thanks so much! You could absolutely use resin on glass jars and cups. As long as you allow the full cure time, it def won't crack or peel. I'd suggest using a resin that is rated for higher temps, such as a table top resin. 💙💙
No damage so far! Once the resin is fully cured, you'd have to burn a lot of candles down to nothing over a long period of time to get any real damage to it. You may get soot on the candle holders, but that's easily wiped off! Hope that helps!
hi i ran across your vid and they are beautiful! .. i want to make candle holders with my molds, but can you burn real candles in these?? does the heat not melt the resin??
Thanks so much! Once it's fully cured, your resin shouldn't melt or anything like that. The only real concern is soot building up, but with these particular molds you shouldn't have that problem because the opening is wide enough. I hope that helps!
I tend to use the tea lights with the aluminum base, so I don't get wax drips in mine. But one way to do it would be warming up the wax in hot water, and wiping it out. Or warming it with a heat gun and wiping it out. Hope that helps!
It typically takes 24 hours to set solid, and about a week before they can be considered fully cured. Cure time depends on the type of resin your using, and the temperature of your studio you are curing them in. Warmer means a faster cure (which can be not so great for your molds), and colder can mean a longer cure time. I hope that helps!
Have you started Christmas gift making?
I love the molds!!! these would make awesome gifts!!!
Absolutely! I've given so many of these candle holders as gifts!
The colours are beautiful
Thanks so much!
TEMU has great molds. Cheap too. They just take awhile to come from China but I find them pretty good.
Can melt and burn the candle directly in it without burning the resin? This is amazing!
Love these! I’ve made a few and they always look great. Perfect size
Thanks! I agree, these are probably the best candle holder molds ever!
These are so gorgeous!!!
Thanks!! I really hope my housemate loves them!
Love the color and the mold pattern. So these would just be used for holding a candle not the candle itself?

Beautiful❤❤❤
Thanks! ☺️
Perfect ! 😁
Thanks! 💙
I wonder if resin could be used for regular candle jars.. just wick it and pour the wax in to harden?
You probably could since the flame wouldn't touch the sides! (P.S. sorry this response is so late. YT didn't notify me of this comment til now. Lol.)

Spray 91% rubbing alcohol in the molds when remolding ❤
Beautiful containers! Did the candle inside damage the resin? I want to do something similar but I’m wondering if the flame will damage the resin.

@@JustCallMeMeghanOh okat . Y es I wanted to do some molds like this but I was scared it would melt.. thank you for getting back to me ..
Hi! How do you remove wax drips without damaging the resin?

@@JustCallMeMeghan thank you!
If you filled those molds up with the candle wax would it warp the resin?
Nope! Because this is table top resin, it's rated for a higher temperature. One of the reasons I prefer it for making coasters. 😁
@@JustCallMeMeghan Thanks! That's good to know!
What resin do you use for the candles? So pretty
This is the Total Boat tabletop resin!
@@JustCallMeMeghan Thank you so much I'm just always worried about flames lol
How long did they have to cure?

Put rubbing alcohol down the side rub it and it will slide out.
