Hi. Hey it's beautiful! But doesn't both the shades mix up after going inside. I mean when I make it gets mixed up. It doesn't really show both the colours like yours.
The resin that I use holds up pretty well! It does get warm to the touch and I wouldn’t recommend burning a candle in it over night or unattended but I haven’t had problems with tea lights burning in them for a couple of hours 😊 I hope that helps!
Of course! I get a lot of stuff from Amazon but when I can I also buy from my local art store. I tend to use Piñata colors alcohol ink. I always link my materials in the description of my videos! So you can see them there 😊

I started making these. I was wondering if letting each layer dry then adding a new layer would work
You can do that if you don’t want the colors to mix! You can let it cure in layers and have different, distinct, layers of color 💘
When u layer the resin with the colors, do u wait in between or pour one after another?
I pour one after another! If you want the colors not to mix you can wait for a layer of resin to cure before pouring the next 💘

About 100 ml. I usually make two at a time and mix up 200/ slightly over 200ml

How else can we use this mold apart from candle holder? How else can it be useful?
I use them as little trinket dishes to hold loose jewelry or spare change.
Since resin is sensitive to heat, will the holder melt of candle is placed

Candle wax be poured into it?
That’s a good question. No I don’t think it’s safe to use this as a candle container. It’s meant to be used with a tea light that has a metal tin.

Hey! These molds hold 100 ml of resin so I mix up 200 ml for two of them (100 ml resin 100 ml hardener) I hope that helps!
Do you use casting resin or coating?
The resin that I used for this project is labeled as being both casting and coating resin! I’ve used it for both and like it for both purposes. 😊
